So - I just bought this the other day. EXCELLENT expansion - very addicting. I guess the models for the dogs could look better (atleast they included the Mal and the Sibe models this time!), but that's why they allow you to fully customize the physical features of the dog. You can also have cats, horses, racoons, unicorns, and the little stuff (birds, hamsters, snakes, turtles, etc.) Overall, the best expansion for the Sims 3 I've bought. Worth the money. Who else has played it?

Been a while since I posted anything up in here, so thought I would see how many people are getting into the whole home automation thing. With things coming out with the echo, hive, nest, hue etc, more and more people are automating things. For me, I've been automating quite a few things lately. Stopped doing it so much as it could quickly cost a fortune and money going on other things, but eventually I will be doing the whole house. Amazon echo in livingroom, office, diningroom, kitchen, bedroom Smart light switches in livingroom, office, bedroom (and one for the diningroom once I get it put in) Smart socket in livingroom for lamps Hive b…

Want it for at home (so can come on here on days off and night time) as dont want a phone line if I can get away with it. http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsummary.aspx?offercode=24B15GD025&hompepage=1

Hi, I bought my son a cheap laptop for Christmas ( as he tends to break everything he touches) and it is driving me insane. It had a free trial of macafee installed and he has only been on it a few times and the rest I have been trying to remove pop ups telling me it is blocking unwanted programs. I tried a malware remover thingy and it all seemed fine but tonight when he tried to get online it tells me ' the remote device or resource won't accept the connection. In frustration I did a system restore and now it still won't log on and the pop ups are back. I am seriously thinking of chucking it tin the recycle bin and buying another. It is a toshiba cheap thing from Argos.…

Well, here it is: A thread specifically for the geeky people out here to talk about... you know, anything that is considered computer related I've created this since some people on here were confused in what language we where speaking. What should we call them? Muggles? Anyway, to continue where we got off:

I know most of you guys in the UK don't use iPhones, so for the rest of you, do you plan on upgrading to the newest iPhone went it is announced next month? I currently have a iPhone 4S, and I am eligible for a discount through AT&T. I am really thinking of upgrading after the 5S comes out. First, I can go on gazelle.com and they will give me $230 USD for my old iPhone. And if I just upgrade to the iPhone 5 instead of the 5S, it should be about $299 for it, or only about $70 after the discount. Wondering if anyone else is thinking of getting it, or if I should just keep my 4S

Hey guys I know I have another logo thread but I'm using my phone and can't find it. So I'm taking bigger steps towards this business now. I have started a start your own business course, and I'm enquiring about beauty insurance, house insurance, public and liability. Also looking into renting a premises. Now I want to advertise so I want to set up a Facebook page, website, Google, Google ads, Twitter, paper, fliers ect. But I need a name and logo. So I already had the beauty room last time, now I'm wondering should I leave it at the beauty room or change it to Alicia's beauty room? Then if I decided to use an actual premises as a salon would the beauty room or Alicia's b…

Decided I needed a new desk. Problem with my old one was that it looked a bit worn and we are trying to get the house into a sellable state, so I moved to a small desk. When you work from home every day though, a small desk is not exactly comfortable, so have had one custom built into the corner

What would you recommend as an alternative to a desk top pc? Laptops can be cumbersome (and the battery has given up the ghost in mine!) and trying to get the best out of this forum on my phone is hard work! So, how do you get online? What do you use & why? Since Grumpy has discovered FB & poker again, I'm relegated from the pc till he's had enough & goes to watch TV! If I get my bonus in June's paypacket, I might treat myself to a gadget so I don't have to fight to be here!

My laptop is dying the death. I have numerous vertical coloured lines on the screen and the fan sometimes kicks into overdrive. I need a laptop so that I can take it into work with me. I like to watch DVDs, but don't play games and I am also one of those dread people an exam board examiner, and online mark A level exam papers so would prefer a decent sized screen. Downside is I don't have a fortune to spend as I am currently paying for my son's new very expensive fence so the dogs can go visit him His garden is about 1/3 acre so if I say I feel like a registered charity, is no exaggeration. What laptop would you recommend? Also if it comes with Windows 8 does thi…

I introduce to you all, the alpha build of... SmileMan! A smiley managment application written in C++/QT for linux and Windows. This little baby keeps track of all your smileys, and then gives you the link in a snap! I'll come on here with the Linux executable later but I originally did it on linux and had to make a few tweaks and compile it on windows and I figure I might as well release it while I'm still on here... So, to set it up, unzip SmileMan, put the file wherever (I would put it in your pictures folder) and then click on the .exe, then right click and go to "Send to" then desktop and boom, you have a convenient link right there..…
