  1. Olaf is stunning 😍 must show my daughter tomorrow, she’ll love he’s called Olaf (frozen fan) Happy Anniversary
  2. Lol I couldn’t when I first got back into running a few years ago, now it’s helped me through some tough times and I love going for a run now (plus I like chocolate lol) its my headspace
  3. I’ve entered into Race For Life 10km in my area. Im concerned with distance as already running over 10km on much hillyer terrain. My sister has asked me to do the 5km run with her which is the same day. Again I’m not concerned with the distance, I know I can train to that distance, my concern is will I have time between the two to finish and get to the start of the next. The 10km is the first at 9:30am and the 5km starts at 11am Do they use the same start line positions for both distances or are they different routes?
  4. Going to try keep this short and sweet its been another long time since I posted and so much has happened in that time. I can’t remember if you guys know or not (some of you will from Facebook) but we now have a daughter, Melissa, who’s now 2 Since becoming parents we have faced many more struggles mentally and financially and without going into details we had to make the difficult decision to let Gizmo, Marley and Bandit go to better homes. Id prefer not to have questions or sympathy wishes, seeing them go was the most awful heartbreaking thing I’ve ever experienced and it still haunts me now, if you want to send wishes or hugs please send it to Gizmo, Marley and Bandit that they find loving forever homes. I understand if I’m removed from here as we no longer own huskies and I don’t post much either but love you all xx
  5. Here's a better photo of Rocket Had a neighbour around this morning saying the dogs kept her up all night, we have explained the situation and are going to move the kennels later as they are currently next to her back garden Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  6. If I walk Bandit he'll go and go and go and not tire out, taken him for a 3 mile run and we're both pooped [emoji90] Managed each mile in under 9 mins each so over the moon. Marathon in October here we come! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  7. Great topic and very insightful [emoji3] Bandit is a perfect example of this particularly out of our boys! He's had rabbits, birds and even threw a few hedgehogs around (luckily the hedgehogs all survived) and he's the one who works out the weak points in the fencing or push past us and get out of the house and he's also had a cat and a sheep! I've done the off lead with Gizzy before but learnt through Bandit and now unless it's fully husky safe they are on leads Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  8. Thankyou, they seem to be settling in well. We've not yet introduced them to Gizzy, Marley and Bandit as been a bit of a crazy day and not had chance to get them all onto neutral ground but they've all seen and smelt each other and not appeared to have any issues yet but time will tell. Fingers and paws crossed they get on. If they don't it's no big deal for us as we have enough space to keep them separate, it's just more time consuming Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  9. Thankyou everyone. Our first night went well. Rocket is diabetic and took his insulin really well, got loads of kisses! Here's Zak, my new running buddy Here's Rocket, please don't be worried about his eyes it looks worse than it is, have been told it doesn't bother him so because of the effects the operation could have on his condition the vets said to leave it for now. Not best pic sorry Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  10. Hello long time since last posting Just wanted to introduce two new pack members, photos yet to come. Long story cut short we just couldn't bare to see these lovelies pts for the simple fact they couldn't find a home and being their owners are very good friends of ours, just had to help! For now we are just fostering them and depending on how it works out will depend on it becoming more permanent. Photos are yet to come, it's a bit dark to get pics now. Please welcome Zak and Rocket to our pack xx Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
