Well we have a bit of a rescue home here. We have two girly guinea pigs called cookies (left) and biscuits (right).. We rescued them as the previous owners didn't want them as they were no longer cute babies. We also have Azizi our cockatiel he is at the back, Rafiki at the front sadly passed away a few weeks ago. (we will be on the lookout for a friend for him shortly once we have got him a bigger cage) Since Rafiki passed away Azizi has taken to the piggies and seems to think he is one and sneeks into their cage as often as he can And finally we rescued two male guinea pigs yesterday whos…

So my landlord has a garage out back of the house, I don't go in there. But I have to walk past it when I walk Wizard. Wizard and I were going out a little bit ago and he kept pulling me toward the garage. Now there is a hole in the wood of the door to the garage and I look in and all I see is black and two tiny green eyes. After I walk Wizard I went out alone to see whats in there and there is a momma with 3 tiny kittens. Can't get too close because she starts hissing and all but I can see 3, 1 black and 2 grey. They are so freakin cute. My neighbor has been feeding and giving the mom water and all. The momma doesn't even look old enough to have kittens. I hope they are …

He's not eaten for 3 weeks and has lost weight - he's not entertained his locust or crickets or even morio worms which are his all time favourite I'd bought some granulated bee pollen and have been mixing a little water in it and syringe feeding him it and also liquidised his fruit and veg and syringe fed him that as well just to keep him going. Enough was enough though and he didn't entertain anything so yesterday I found an exotic vet and took him there - they took bloods from him which have come back ok, I also gave him a bath Friday night and he did a poop so i took that with me too - i've got to wait until probably Wednesday to get the results back from t…

I almost left this forum after receiving what I considered a very negative judgement from another forum member negatively comparing dobermans (protective and obedient) to huskies (independent and friendly - even to your enemies). I have had a doberman female for four years, and only recently I acquired my current and first husky, after hearing about her unfortunate and abusive past - never taken for a walk - as she supposedly pulled too much, and seen as too much of a hassle as she supposedly escaped and ran away. I was curious about the warnings about not letting the husky off leash, and told that I had "a lot to learn" about that fact. well, I would like to report back,…

I was browsing seeing what different foods I can offer my little one and found this really neat chart I thought might come in handy for others with a dragon I particularly like the breakdown and explanation of what the foods contain and why they should be fed as a staple, in moderation, or even not at all. http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html

Hi guys, meet Tweety the new addition to my family he's a beautiful yellow songbird (I'm not sure is it a he or she, but I'll call it a "he" for now ) I call him Tweety because he's so yellow, but now that I got to know him better I regret it he should've been named CHATTERBOX! oh almost forgot... Here's his background story http://www.husky-owners.com/forum/main-chat/43780-rescued-baby-bird#post682021 No pics right now because Tweety is SO needy he screams for food every fifteen minutes and then "goes" right after meal x__x at first I changed his bedding every time he poo'd or peed but now it is impossible... My little sister is getting a puppy next week for her 16th birthday He's a labrador cross German shepherd......cross boxer......cross doberman..... I kind of want to skim over that part though because I know it's a sensitive issue, and I put up all the fight I could so no point complaining about that now (especially to me! ) Anyway, we've been to see the litter and the one she's reserved is super cute My sister originally wanted a black and tan female but she was SO naughty! Constantly running around, throwing herself on you and chewing on everything! So I told her she would really be much better off picking one of the calmer ones, and the rest of us had all…

Since coming home from uni my parents have insisted I keep my rats in the shed at the bottom of the garden as there's nowhere in the house they could be shut away from the 2 dogs and 3 cats, and my mum doesn't like the smell I realised I couldn't keep them like this - the shed is damp, not well insulated (so it gets too cold and night and too hot in the day), and there's all sorts of vermin and predators in the garden like wild mice, wild rats, foxes, etc. So I decided I had to rehome them They went this evening to a lovely home about 10 minutes away from here. The guy has a 'rodent room' in his house where he's got pet mice, show mice, zebra mice, African pygmy dormice…

Ok as I was looking through photos I came across two of a little dog I use to have named Draven. Draven was a mix breed and I know exactly what he was a mix of and will reveal it later. Lets see if anyone here can guess what he's mixed with, I will say he is a mix of two pure bred dogs. He wasn't very tall, maybe a foot tall and most likely weighed 20-30 pounds. He was kinda chunky/well muscled. Now without further ado the photos ... let the guessing begin Puppy: Adult:
