In Backwood a van with K9 Unit signage has been seen around and linked to dog thefts (van was probably brought used from police or secuirty compnay) In Beddau two men posing as RSPCA approached dog walkers claiming to check tags and chips then tried to cut leads and run off with dogs last case a freind walking a Husky Tibetian Mastff cross that i know was approached by the police and warned to take care because of the fake rspca guys So every one should take care try to walk with at least 2 people or walk in groups of dog owners

Today I almost lost my baby boy Blu 🐺! We just came back home from the dog park and a little walk around the block. Came inside to refill his water dish and I noticed he wasn't glued to my side, like he normally is! Hmm, maybe he went down in the Man cave in the basement? Nope.. I checked everywhere and No Blu 😳!! Hi there! Im in a bit of a breed pickle and thought Id get some opinions. So back in May my BF bought a 2 month old Husky puppy. *Supposedly* purebred Siberian and can be papered (but wasnt due to covid, also from what I know, not a super reputable breeder, idk). I noticed this morning that Poppy’s left leg spasms while she was standing up and she kicked out and looked at her leg. I noticed this happen a couple of times as well about a month ago. I haven’t seen it since. Is this something to get checked? I don’t remember seeing it happen ever with Flash before. Thanks.

Hi there my name is Anna I am in the middle of buying a Siberian husky he is only two weeks old he opened his eyes finally but I have noticed that one of his eyes is turning a blue color in the other eye is still dark. what age did your sibe's eyes stop changing colors? Luka's mommy has beautiful warm, brown eyes and his dad has pretty ice blue eyes. when we saw pictures from the breeder we noticed his eyes were dark blue. from what i've heard this means they were going to turn brown. correct me if i'm wrong. i'm including a picture of what exactly i mean. well he's nine weeks old now and the edges of his eyes have stayed greenish/brown. but the centers have changed to lighter blue. (more like ice blue) so now i have no idea what color they're going to be!? lol it doesn't matter to me either way, i'm just dying of curiosity. ill have to upload a pic of his eyes…

So I just rescued this full blooded husky from these peoples house. His name was Hoss (we named him Boss it's a little less uncivilized lol) and we noticed besides being completely emaciated he's got this rather large mass in the middle of his head. It's very hard like a bone, in fact I'm almost positive it is a bone. It doesn't hurt him at all we poked at it quite a bit and he didn't seem bothered by it. But it does worry me and my husband... any one know what it may be??

I adopted my husky about 1.5 years ago. She recently blew out her under coat about 1.5 months ago, but her fur hasn’t stopped shedding. She is constantly shedding her top coat and the hair around her back legs is thinning to the point I can see her skin threw the thinning hair. Her hair has also become more coarse and dry. She has also become increasingly itchy on her belly and legs. She has no signs of fleas. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned about diet/nutrition?

hey guys, i got spirit spayed about a 2weeks ago. the vet had to shave her belly fur away for this procedure to happen. her healing's process has been good so far, stitches are out but with mild irritation to her stitches so i've placed antibotic cream on her belly for a couple days and it's been recovering pretty well. i'm just wondering how long did it take your husky's tummy fur to grow back?? I have a 9 month old purebred husky that still has floppy ears. I was wondering if anyone else had/has or know of anyone that had a husky with floppy ears? I have AKC papers saying he's purebred. I saw both of his parents and they're both purebreds with erect ears. I asked my veterinarian about his ears and she said it's up to dog if they want to erect their ears or not so I shouldn't worry to much about it. But.. I can't help but be curious about his ears?!

So my daughter always wanted a husky ever since she was 3. 13 years later her first dog passed and it was time to surprise her with a new pup. We got a beautiful brown furred husky and i k ow they are smart and unique dogs so im hoping for some tips while she is still a pup. Got damn if she doesnt have energy for days lol. Good day Personally i am not a husky owner, however i love huskies and i am constantly with my neighbors husky. Around a month ago every time my neighbors husky would start howling if he doesn't see me for a longer period of time. The huskies noise is making the whole neighborhood crazy, is there anything i can do to reduce the anxiety my neighbors husky gets when i am not around? I am asking as I am curious on what my potentially pregnant husky could give us for colours and eyes in her pups. And I am curious about genetics in general. It is too early for us to know for sure if she is pregnant or not and she will be going in for an ultrasound when she is far enough along. Both parents are purebred, registered Siberian huskies. I have tried everything, and it seems to firm up for a few days, and then it goes back to being running, about the consistency of pudding. He was started on Eukanuba puppy food and I switched him to Wellness dry puppy food about 3 weeks ago.
