Does your sibe like being brushed? Lex hates being brushed everytime i get his brush out he goes ballistic barking and jumping round going for the brush and just won't stand still! Yet as soon as you start brushing his belly he is fine unless you move off his belly then it is back to square one!

A few months ago our local council decided that we were all going to start recycling (nice of them to ask) and so kindly delivered kimba a new toy. Product: Paper Recycling bag Rating: 3 Star Entertainment factor: 4 out of 10 This new age toy comes in the form of a blue plastic bag which occasionally goes from hollow to paper filled. I have given the product a 3 star rating as Kimba simply will not touch it in is original hollow state, meaning I had to do some minor improvements before he would play with it at all. Suggested Improvements: 3 x used magazines, 2 x newspaper (always prefers damp ones, 1 x cardboard box …

What would you give up for your pet? As you probably know, we're getting one of the pups mid January, due to the increast cost - feeding, insurance etc, i've said I will stop having my nails done every fortnight (costing 25 a time) This is quite a big thing for me as i've had them done for the past 6 years but i love Kimba to bits and can't wait for the new arrival so sacrifices are being made. Just wondered if anyone else has given up something for their pet ?? Edited - Have just found this web site : http://www.petproductnews.com/headlines/2008/12/08/akc-finds-dog-owners-willing-to-sacrifice-for-pets-welfare.aspx

Do you think that dogs in general / your dog(s) are a good judge of character? Kimba seems to jump all over anyone regardless of whether they look a bit "odd" or not. I took him out this morning and he was all over this guy who looked very weird, and spoke as though he was pissed

SO, you've decided that you want a Siberian Husky and are prepared to change your life, but do you get a male, or a female?? Male dogs tend to be more stable in their mood as opposed to female dogs. Some male dogs are bolder and more aggressive than females, while other males are goofy and big softies. Male dogs have genitals that are easy to see, when you roll them over to scratch their bellies, there's something in the way. Some owners feel self-conscious about this. Male dogs may also become aroused and or lick their private parts, and again, some owners may feel embarrased by this especially if Grandma is visiting!!

Here are some other key considerations any new dog owner should take into account when bringing a puppy or a dog into the home: Dos * The Control of Dogs Order 1992 requires that any dog in a public place must wear a collar tag with the name and address of the owner written on it. Your telephone number is optional. The Kennel Club can provide these tags from the Online Shop. * It is highly recommended that you microchip your dog and register it with Petlog, the largest pet reunification scheme in the UK, as this can prove extremely effective in locating a lost pet. The Petlog Premium Lost and Found service can even alert local vets and dog warde…
