We trained Luna to pee outside but, lately, whenever we take her upstairs she pees on the carpet and has pooped once too, she is already spayed an is 9 months now, so I'm looking for suggestions you guys might have.

This CarPET hair removal brush is amazing! I always find that the hose on my vacuum doesn't pick up husky hair very well, so I've started using this in my car, on the sofa and on the stairs. definitely recommended! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Hi My family are looking at a Siberian Husky Pup, we done a lot of research BUT we re getting mixed information when it comes to their relationship with smaller animals. (I suppose it depends on whether you re a sibe lover or not). We have a toddler child and a cat, and we re the puppy we are seeing is being bought up in a family home with a cat and small children. With a plan to integrate them earlier but keep a safe space for the cat just in case. We also have family who have small dogs, ie, chihuahua’s and a few people have advised us the sibe animal instinct does not disappear and perhaps this isn’t the right dog for us as it can still attack smaller animals. Our…

I have heard that you are supposed to keep the hair on the paws trimmed back but haven't had anything to support this statement can anyone enlighten me as to what the correct procedure is. Should it be trimmed back or left? This is one of Eclipses' paws at the moment. Gary.

Hello everyone, I love animals, especially dogs and cats. Recently, I was on a business trip and visited a coffee shop. I see a very cute and lovely dog. Ask your boss and you know that it is a Husky breed. But due to the rushing time, I have not had time to ask where they bought this breed. So I'm up here to hope everyone can tell me where I can buy this Husky? When buying, can I enjoy any incentives or promotions? Thanks everyone.

I'm sorry but I have to get something off my chest! I Love My Siberian husky Blu! He means the world to me and I didn't have children of my own! So he's like a Son to me, being a fist time Momma! I have some people say that I'm to Obsessed with him because he's all I talk about and have more pictures of him than my own family! I just wanted to know if anyone else feels this way about their fur baby 🐺.

Hello, I am a new puppy owner, and recently went through a breeder to purchase a Pomsky. I live in a 1 bedroom condo and due to building restrictions as well as consideration for the puppy I wanted to keep the size to approximately 25-30 lbs. After discussions with several breeders, I settled on a breeder that seemed very reputable and provided answers to all of my questions and details on projected size which she mentioned would be approximately 25 lbs. My puppy is only 4 months old and is already 26 lbs and based on discussions with my Vet he is going to be 50 lbs+. I am in a very difficult situation due to my residency restrictions regarding pet sizes as well as c…

Zena seems to enjoy laying in the sun and finding spots in the house where the sun is shining through. Only once has she specifically stayed in the shade in the garden which was after she had a long walk. Daft dog!

My 4 year old Husky, Saria, began acting odd a few days ago. She began by whimpering often and wanting attention more than usual. She also would hide under the bed for no apparent reason- she only goes there when she has a toy or treat that she didn't want any of our dogs to get. I thought she was behaving that way because I haven't been able to walk her lately or take her outside to play. So I bought toys, took her out for a walk to see if that would resolve it. I noticed she was more upbeat with a new toy, and I was happy to see that improvement. As of a few minutes ago, her behavior completely shifted. She began whimpering even more, and would grab a bigger squeaky toy…

Hi, this is probably a silly question but I can’t really find much information on this. I have a 6 month old pup and was wondering if anyone knows if there is anything wrong with organising play dates with his parents? The breeder has both mum and dad and over lockdown we’ve spoke about it being nice if they could meet up but I just wanted to double check peoples opinion on this! Thanks

Someone please help before I lose my tiny grip on sanity, lol. I was out walking Buddy and Star this morning and bumped into a guy, bloody nice bloke, who knew his huskies. He recognised the Budster's bloodline, which I already knew as we have his KC papers, and he said that Star looked like she had some Zero in her. After many hours of searching t'internet all I have discovered is that the BSHRA don't let them race. I guess the reason being that, from what the guy told me this morning, Zero dogs are flippin' fast. Can any of you good people cast any light on this please? We don't have any of Star's papers so can't trace her tree back for clues. …

2 puppies out of the same litter. Both solid white. But one has black pigmentation and a black nose. The other has no black just pink and a pink nose. What if anything is the difference between these 2 pups? Tia!

Hey all, I couldn't find an appropriate place to post this. I went for a weeks holiday to Little Dumpledale Farm in West Wales. https://littledumpledale.co.uk/ The farm is run by a family who has a love for dogs. Each of the premises on site is dog-friendly and the main thing, husky secure. I was able to leave my three like I do at home in the garden without any fuss or issues. I am from West Wales, so to give you an idea of how great this place is, I could have stayed at my parents' house, but this suited me much better! I am sure there are other places in the UK that will accept dogs. The challenge I found was dog-friendly and husky-friendly ar…

Neighbourhood Watch Network is supporting Sussex's Police and Crime Commissioner, Katy Bourne, who, in partnership with the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC), has created an online survey designed to understand the public’s perception of dog theft, enforcement, and the prosecution of offenders. The survey includes a question seeking views on whether dogs should be treated in law merely as property when they are stolen. Having a common understanding of how the public feels about this issue will help inform discussions that PCCs and NWN will have nationally, as well as allow police forces to better understand the public’s view…
