Hey all, Simka here barking that it has been a very difficult and sad day. My friend Bluedog the hound passed on to the rainbow bridge last night . Mommy and I got the news this morning. Carol, Grizz and Rusty are devistated as are we. He was an older boy, and his health was not the greatest, but he could always keep up with the rest of us dogs and our shenanigans. Im glad that Carol, Grizz and Rusty still have eachother for comfort. Hope everyone out there spends a little more time together with their families today and cherish the time we have together Simka & Natalie

So I've been having major phone issues with my Hisense since Oct/Nov last year and just about gave up with browsing the forum on it, until I bought a Huawei a few weeks ago and it recommended the HO app in the play store! Still figuring out how everything works, but so glad to be back on here and hopefully catch up with everyone that I haven't followed on Facebook the past few months. Especially @09robiha and off to see how Finn has grown up... The fluffballs are still up to their usual mischievous selves... Smokey just turned 3 and they got a puppy to babysit regularly! Will post pics soon! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app

I am looking to get some advise my Titan mostly follows my commands when he gets a treat otherwise he ignores and I have to grab his face and make him look at me and repeat the command and then he will follow the order, Titan seems to be driven only by Rewards. He never comes when called but he does know sit, stay lay, down/off, shake and leave it. I feel proud though because I have been doing all bit training and he is only 1y2m old. Any more advice would be appreciated tips tricks as well thank you Sent from my SM-G935P using Husky Owners mobile app

Bought some nail clippers today as both boys don't wear them down naturally even though we walk on pavements. Charlie sat nicely (securely held by Rob) but Solo cried whined and generally made a noise! There's no way i would cut too short or hurt them but you would have thought i was lol.

My other half that is..... so yesterday was an awful day weather wise, we decided to take 'the boys' for a long walk by the river in another village, bags packed, off we went. I put both head harnesses on and took extending leads, we are surrounded by sheep EVERYWHERE in Wales so we choose where we walk them carefully. We are soaking wet after 15 mins walking but the boys are loving it and then we come across a field we have to pass FULL of sheep and lambs and they both go nuts, all of the sheep run to the other side of the field baa..ing like mad. It finally clicked, he said..... you can never let them off the lead to run on their own. At last!! He's been giving me a har…

Hi, As you can see by my earlier post, I'm concerned about the yard space for my future dog. For now, I think I will go with the stake however, I always imagined that I can let my puppy out to the yard in the morning and have him play there while I get ready for work. I'm exploring fencing options to do next summer, I really do not want those 6 ft tall privacy fences. My backyard is quite wooded and it feels like a forest so I would hate to close it out. Would you please post the pictures of your yard and fence? Would love to get some ideas that would allow me to have a safe environment for the dog while keeping my forest yard feel. Sent from my…

Hi, I will be getting a husky puppy this summer [emoji177] I have a decent size yard with a lot of squirrels that I assume puppy will want to chase after. I'm currently not in a position to fence it, I was thinking about getting a wireless fence. Anyone has experience with such fence for a husky? I have a concern that if he sees a squirrel, he might run away since I don't have a fence. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Ive had seb the 6 year old sib for 3 years with no problems and since October last year he has been odd, but not every day, when in the house he won't leave my side to the point of putting on dead wait, if I make him move he just want to go outside and not come back in,just lies in 2 spots in the garden, again putting on dead weight when I try to get him in, The main problem is at night he started by headbutting and scratching at the bedroom door and when I open it he just stares and pants intently, so we purchased a baby gate and stop him coming upstairs but low and behold he attacks the baby gate pretty much nightly he gets plenty of exercise and he is not on his …

OK so I'm like literally freaking out I left my dog with my boyfriend and I'm pissed . Excuse my language . I had an appointment today with my doctor and I couldn't take her so I asked him a week before to watch her and he's not watching her right now he payed a friend to watch her so I'm like freaking out. I do know the guy and he has pitbulls but they are outside and they have ticks he doesn't shower them or none . I'm worried he doesn't understand her .. if they change her water every three hours, if she ate all her food when she was supposed to , if she's not feeling well, if there's cats . I left her one time with my boyfriend cause' I had to go to an appointment an…

Good morning all! Simka here barking that if it gets any more windy today in Maine, mommy and me might blow away! Hope all you huskies and humans are having a fun and safe weekend! My friend GrizzLee has been dreading today. See, he has to go to the dogtor or vet person this morning for a check-up. Well, as all you huskies know, its never fun getting a check-up. Especially for arf-ritis. Grizz's mommies friend Linda is taking him. So Carol took Grizz over to Linda's and dropped him off. So as Linda and Grizz were getting ready to leave Grizz gets a whiff of something heavenly delicious and goes nutso: http:// She said that if Grizz is brave at the vets an…

Hi, my name is Janine and I have 2 boys, Cai, my red who is just a year old and Luka, a grey, who is 10 months old. I take them for a run off lead daily, not together, and I really want to get a scooter for them as they have limitless energy, so my question is what age is best for them to start running with one. It seems Alabama rot is on the increase, no known causes, but be vigilant in woodland areas and not to allow your dog to drink from pools of water there. It can kill your dog within days. First signs to look out for, lesions on elbows and knees, diarrhoea, vomiting, listless. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

It breaks my heart , a lot of people will remember skyla getting attacked 6 years ago , despite trying to socialise her she is still fearful of other dogs , it really showed today when I was talking to a couple of people at the bus stop when walking the dogs , this dog across the road in his house was barking - we couldn't see him just hear him - and skyla sat there n cried the whole time this dog was barking until I gave her a fuss n left my hand resting on her how people can say dogs live in the moment n don't remember is beyond me n I hate the owners of the dog who attacked her even more! I have a 12 month old husky. He is very smart and energetic, but he doesn't like to listen when called to come back and is very hard for me to train. A friend of mines suggested trying a dog training shock collar. I am not a fan of those things, but he said that you don't necessarily have to use the shock button, you can just use the vibrate button. Any suggestions?? Cai woke me up this morning at 2.15 to let me know he needed to go outside, nothing unusual about that, except my two sleep in the kitchen and I have a safety gate, so he'd taken the top of the hinged side off, the spring was on the floor, then he lifted the gate off the frame and ran upstairs jumped on my bed and licked my face then ran back down and was waiting by the back door. Not even my kids did that!! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Okay, so I know the title seems weird but please let me know anyone has experienced this aswell.. My Ace has been eating Rocks when we aren't around to catch him. We only know because twice now he has thrown them up. I am in the process of trying to get rid of all the rocks in my yard however that might be a long battle. He is only about 9 months old so I am hoping this is only a puppy thing. We just increased his food and his toys. He doesn't chew anything else up at all. Is this something that I can correct and how? Sent from my SM-N920P using Husky Owners mobile app
