Disclaimer: I'm on the laptop today which in a nutshell means that I'll put my touch typing skills to use and most likely end up a writing a novel similar to war and peace. I'll try not to but I'm not about to start making any promises I can't keep. I have a tendency to veer off into a magical world full of magical unicorns and rainbows, always have done. You should see my school reports....maybe you shouldn't acutally, they're pretty shocking! I'll give you a little bit of history on Ice for those who haven't heard it before. ..... We took on Ice when he was about 4/5 months of age. You'd think at that age that he'd still have a fairly simplistic a…

After lots of consideration, I switched Vets and both Huskies had to get their yearly shots last week. With Tsunami I was a bit worried, so I took him there a week or so before, just to weigh him and it went pretty okay, but I avoided any people or dogs, just not to spook him on the first visit... When it came to his appointment last week he didn't really want to get in the car that afternoon, but with convincing he got in. At the Vets, he didn't want to get out of the car! So I started playing with him on the back seat and manouvered him out the door! Lol He had NO issues going into the building or in the waiting area until a lady came up to pet him... I explained to her…

Good afternoon all! Simka here hoping all you huskies and humans are doing well! What a beautiful weekend. Well, we spent most of the weekend outside. Mommy took me to the dog park yesterday where we got to be with some friends we had not seen since last summer. AND today we opened up our pool and I jumped in! Yikes! It was only 70F!!! But since it was 93F in maine today the water felt grrrreat!!! Grizz and Rusty and Carol are doing well. We need to get over there and see them more often. Oh, by the way, do any of you humans know where mommy can get me an awesome husky size life preserver for the water???? She is not sure if the ones on chewy.com are good quality or n…

Hi guys I cannot get over my boys behavior at the moment. At home he is ok, has to be crated because at 8 months he can be over the top. But this week my girlfriend started fulltime work and as such we decided to put him into daycare. Now in his first week, he has caused other dogs distress by constantly humping them, he refuses to rest when other dogs do. He is getting time outs, answering back, then mouthing in frustration. They are sticking with him for now, but at home he wouldn't get away with this, he is really testing them to the max. I know he may settle and get used to it. The humping will stop when he is neutered but i refuse to do that before h…

I found this information online and found it an interesting read. http://www.onegreenplanet.org/animalsandnature/how-buying-teacup-and-hypoallergenic-dogs-contributes-to-puppy-mills/ it's something that crops up in various places quite a lot and some people honestly are fooled into believing that they're getting something 'special', 'rare' or just generally 'better' to justify the hefty price tag. π I adore my Bear but the difference here is that I haven't been tricked or hoodwinked in anyway to believe that she's something different from the truth. I know what she is (cross breed, mixed breed, mutt, mongrel: call it what you like) and I love her …

Here are my two fur babies! Loki is 10 weeks and has been at home with us for 2 weeks now. Everything going absolutely wonderfully, can't believe how quickly he has taken to toilet training (thanks to his big brother helping out a bit) and has settled into crate training better than expected too. He is currently at the nipping stage so we are working on that... No issues as yet & Barnaby is loving the company, although can be a bit moody sometimes when the pup is full of play and he just wants a sleep lol. It's so nice to see them playing together - even though it freaks my fiancΓ© out a bit lol! [emoji85] Love seeing all your gorgeous pictures of your fur babi…

Hey all good evening! Simka here barking that i hope every human and husky had a grrrreat holiday weekend! The sun FINALLY came out in Maine so we could all enjoy spending some time outside. In fact, me and mommy were invited over to Grizz Lees house yesterday for a barbecue. His mommy Carol had not seen us since winter. Their family has still been greiving the loss of their hound, Bluedog. Both Grizz and Rusty have been down in the dumps all spring, missing their brother Well, yesterday turned out to be a grrreat day for them: At the barbecue, they got to eat their first new pair of nike sneakers for the summer! So yesterday morning, Grizz's doggysitter Rachel sto…

So I was walking the fur ball on Sunday night when some stupid dog owner had tied their dogs to there front porch, (non secure front garden )the dogs went mental as I walked by scaring Phoenix and causing her to spook and yank me sideways. Long story short I am now waiting for surgery as dislocated my wrist along with a fracture, not one apology from the owner just a dirty glare for setting off her dogs [emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

I've been meaning to ask for awhile now lol. I think it would be cool to start up a little group to run multiplayer or just to have someone with you while you're finishing up quests. I'm on PS4 if anyone would like to do this. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
