Good evening all! Long time no bark from! Simka here. I hope all you huskies and hoomans are having a good winter! Mommy and I have been well, but have had LOTS of ice to contend with. Our driveway is like an ice skating rink! . Grizz and family have been naughty as usual, but Bluedog's hip has been bothering him Nikes and reeboks have been scarce since the weather has been bad and all the humans are wearing their boots. Hmmph! It is supposed to be nice this weekend and I am looking forward to playing outside and rolling around in the snow!! Well, bark later! Simka

Arjun on the whole is doing well and listening to commands but he has suddenly discovered he has a nose so is sniffing like mad on a walk. The only concern is that he seems to lick (which is fine) and try and eat (which is not fine) everything off the floor! He had eaten part of a sandwich, chewing gum, crisps and sweets. Im worried he is going to eat something which will be really bad for him. Any tips to stop this? Also, we were waking him at 3am to go outside to urinate but since he has hit 4 months he has been sporadic and getting up randomly...even twice a night. Im thinking its because he has hit a growth spurt and is teething but anyone have any other ideas? Tha…

Marley is now 6 weeks off his first birthday and last night I took some pictures of him as he was in a rare 'quiet' moment. I have put up some photos of him as he was when I got him, at around 6 months old - and now. All of the pictures were taken with a flash - but his eyes never register it - and he has no problem running about in the dark or seeing things in the dark. I can't wait for his undercoat to regrow - he looks 'flat' somehow without a pillowcase full of undercoat now he has finally finished moulting. The rough guard hairs are black on top but when the breeze catches them he is pure white underneath.

Handi-pod! It holds your poopbags and has hand sanitizer too! You can either buy replacement sanitizer or refill it yourself , it holds standard poop bags too which is good because I have loads lol Sent from my E6653 using Husky Owners mobile app

My neighbours fence is old, flimsy and rotten. The panels had started to come loose and fall apart. My boy Darwin seeing an opportunity started pulling at the boards. A couple of weeks ago he was wooing at 05.30am from their back garden. I coaxed him back in and covered the hole. However Huskies being huskies once he'd been through, he knew he could get through and carried on digging and pulling at the fence. Although the neighbours admit the fence is in poor repair they are not prepared to do anything about it. So today I went out spent £60 on panels and did this. it's not pretty but hopefully it'll keep him from escaping via …

Walking the dogs n this bloke came out his house to see them , said skyla looks like a Dutch barge dog etc , what is a Dutch barge dog!? Turns out it's a keeshond :/ now don't get me wrong but they're not white right? Lol the name was officially changed to Keeshond, in 1926 in England, where it had been known as the Dutch Barge Dog. Hi all 2 questions... 1. Is it okay to feed a 13 week puppy (close to 9kg) twice a day rather than 3? 2. Are there any owners close to Berkshire, UK to schedule a play date? I have noticed that huskies LOVE husky play more than other breeds.

Hi all Sorry, it's me again but we seem to be so ignorant when it comes to huskies. Arjun is doing well but has a few minor problems which I thought you guys may be able to help with. 1. Mild separation anxiety - I think he has this. Me and the Mrs both work full time so have to leave him maximum 6 hours a day. When we return we notice that he has urinated on the floor at least twice. One seems to be quite a while ago and the other recent. He should be holding it for nearly 4 hours so we are wondering if the first is due to him missing us? 2. Morning walks - we are walking at 5.40am, 11am (if I am at home) and 6pm. Recently he has been reluctant to walk (es…
