A really good article about the topic from the Sibes and Sled Dogs website: Why Can’t Siberian Huskies Safely Go Off-Lead? This is one of the constant questions raised about Siberian Huskies. You would think it would be enough that: every responsible Siberian Husky owner will tell you that it is not safe to let a Siberian Husky off lead in an unenclosed area, every ethical Siberian Husky Breeder will tell you that it is not safe to let a Siberian Husky off lead in an unenclosed area, every single Siberian Husky rescue organisation IN THE WORLD will tell you that it is not safe to let a Siberian Husky off lead in an unenclosed area; and that every single Siberian Husky …

I'm looking to start investing in something like stocks and shares but to be honest haven't got a clue where to start. Has anyone done this sort of thing before who could point me in the right direction of maybe where to start looking or which websites to view? Cheers

I'm not worried about running out of food or toilet roll I'm more worried about running out of treats. I can explain to Kelly and Eden-Willow about having to ration certain Items to get through this time of crisis But the Dawgs won't understand why they are not getting their normal supply of goodies. . . . Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh.

Hi there! Wondering if any husky owners ever meet up at the Brunswick dog park for play dates? We lost our sweet boy Niko 1 year ago and I'm having husky withdrawals until we can get another one. Would love to watch a group play and get to know some owners.. Also, I'd love to find a group of people who want to take part in dogsitting each other's pups for vacations when we can't take them with us. We want to get a shelter dog, but want to find a group first. Thanks! Lori

This is not a question, but just a reminder of how to take care of our doggos after surgery basically my neighbor's large dog has a TPLO surgery. Though it's not the worst, there are things we need to keep on after surgery. and so I researched and read some good info about it here.

So I have just booked a holiday to go and visit my brother in America in September. It will be the first time I leave Mylo for longer then 4 hours since I got him a year and a half ago. I have arranged for him to stay at home and my dad will move in to be with him, I will be gone for 6 days. I know he is in good hands and his routine will not change other than myself and my partner will not be with him. I am feeling very anxious about leaving him, mainly because I will miss him so much. My main concern is I am not sure if he has separation anxiety or not. He is crate trained and is more then happy to go in his crate when I go to work, I tell him ‘mum is going to work’…

Hello, just wondering if a solid red husky go through a white phase at 3 weeks old. I am afraid he will turn sable white&red rather than solid red. Do you have experience with that? Both parents are red. Father is solid while mother is semi. I appreciate your comments.

Ok over the past Ill say 3 months, Niko has killed the following: two moles and one squirrel, all on separate walks. He is so fast it amazes me. The squirrel was yesterday while we hiked through a park. I didnt even see it and the next thing I knew he had the poor squirrel in his mouth trotting along on his leash. I got him to release it but it was too late. Anyone else have a husky that hunts while out on walks? AmyF Sent from my Note 5
