Relatively innocent, it was/is a fresh roadkill. But once latched on to the prey a Husky will never back down, you try to get the captured prey out of their mouthes. In this case Iroh had himself a treat, but imagine if he had been off lead and this was somebody's cat, rabbit, squirrel etc. No happy ending in that scenario..

I ordered them a while back but finally they've arrived! Most girls covert heels, but I prefer converse and sandals. [emoji23] Sent via the power of rubbish tapatalk

"New" car ..

After getting back from my work "holiday", I decided it was time to hunt for a car that I could fit all the boys in. Came across one for $1500 which apparently had minor issues to fix before it could be roadworthied. A lot of thought and "will I have enough money to do this" later, I went for it, and I'm really happy with it. Got a permit to drive it home unregistered and it worked perfectly, and really all that needs fixing is a couple oil leaks. Everything else is in pretty nice condition too. Stoked with it for $1500, and plenty of space for the dogs

Came across this quote sometime back, and thought it really puts into perspective the relationship between a human and a dog. The fidelity of a dog is a precious gift demanding no less binding moral responsibilities than the friendship of a human being. The bond with a dog is as lasting as the ties of this earth can ever be. ~Conrad Lorenz

Palm oil has been washed up on Trearddur Bay beach in Anglesey, however I've heard about it being found at other places on the North Wales coastline. Palm oil is fatal to dogs so if you live around here, keep your dog/s off the beach! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

My new husky pup about 3 Months old is having a problem with getting the hint that he can't be chewing on all my clothes and shoe. I've tried positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement but nothing is working.

Good evening all! Simka here barking that I hope everyone is haveing a fun and safe winter! In Maine, we have LOTS of snow. Mommy had to have our roof shoveled off twice to make sure our house would not fall in!! We sure will be glad when the warmer weather comes! There is so much ice over at Grizz Lees house that the boys have spent alot of time indoors, safe from slipping and falling. BlueDog had a bad slip a while back Well, 3 big dogs stuck inside the house is not a good thing. The boys have cabin fever bad. AND this past week they have been really frisky for sneakers. Their hidden nike stash is covered over with snow so they cannot get to it So Grizz Lees mom…

So since I've had Koda I've avoided the park - he's not the best with off lead dogs. He's a rescue and something tells me he's had a bad experience with an off lead dog because he gets really upset if one approaches. Anyway this morning I was out quite early, no one was in the park so I took them up for a nice walk. Nearly back at the bottom and I see a Spaniel running lose. Usually I would have gone up to it to see if it had a collar, but I could see Koda getting twitchy so I turned round and walked away, no owner to be seen anywhere. Next thing this Spaniel JUMPS on Koda, and Koda starts going absolutely mad! The Spaniel is running around us in circles, Koda i…

K9 of LC Training Academy 145 Southport New Road Tarleton PR4 6HX Tel: 01772 816526 Mob: 07502 946883 Mail: bark@k9oflc.co.uk https://www.k9oflc.co.uk/ I took Marley to this trainer (Les) to sort out some minor issues - not least of which to stop him jumping up at people as my autistic grandson is due to visit for the first time later this year (10 years old) and I do not want him frightened. I knew they said they had a secure dog park and whilst there Marley was allowed in a few times to break up the training sessions - whenever he did something correctly twice in a row - that was his reward - and he loved it. I…

Driving me crazy. Arjun is now just over 5 months and is slowly forgetting commands! He is too distracted on walks and even sit is hard! We are careful that he doesn't pick up anything but once he does ge ignores leave even though at home with toys etc he drops instantly. The only way to get it out is to open his jaw ans put fingers inside his mouth. But he is now locking his jaw and them teeth hurt even though he isn't putting force into it. Any ideas how to get him to drop...treats aren't helping either. Sent from my SM-G935F using Husky Owners mobile app
