  1. Sakura gets the same brand and flavor wet and dry and no issues other than refusing food lately but that’s because we were on a trip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Furthest I’ve gotten her is to the garage and that’s about 50 feet from front door. Usually she plants around the 10 feet out. I would never “force” her, that’s as a bad choice in words. What I meant was continue to keep her leash tight calling her trying to show her I’m not afraid and it’s ok. Instead of letting her be afraid and think it’s legitimate. She’s fine in the morning when it’s dark it’s only from sundown on that she is sketch. She will barely go on the screened porch without tail tucked and always ready to bolt in. 3. There hasn’t been fireworks for a week. No sounds no anything outside but she won’t go. This isn’t an afraid of the sounds thing, this is an afraid to go outside after dark now because what happened during the 4th celebration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Well, since all the fireworks and on the fourth and the week following I have not been able to get Sakura past the sidewalk before she freaks out. This means no pee/poop before bed and she thankfully holds it till morning. Problem is now she is thinking that if she sits and plants herself or turns and pulls as hard as she can that she gets to go inside. There is nothing happening outside to scare her she’s just on super alert mode and is traumatized from all the explosions. Do I let her keep thinking it’s ok to react like that till she’s over it? Or do I keep trying to urge her forward showing her it’s ok? I don’t want to traumatize her more by forcing her out but I also don’t want her to be terrified of outside after dark forever. HELP!!! 5. Thanks for the votes and kind words everyone. I just take the pics, she’s gorgeous all on her own lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Kind of interested myself if there are some left! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My Husky/Malamute mix,Sakura, is 3 also and plays pretty rough but I’ve gotten her to stop mouthing and biting so much. Did this by saying a shocking OUCH anytime she does it. It catches her off guard and makes he stop and look at me. If she does it again I say it more elevated and she gets it. Took about a month of always doing it but she is much better. Biggest problem is how rough she plays with other dogs, does your play rough with dogs as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Silicone valley is great and didn’t see that one listed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Sakura made a new friend, Willow the Samoyed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I’ve had people turn and run away when they see Sakura and question if she is some kind of wolf all time because, “huskies don’t come in that color”......well then don’t tell her . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So is that a win for Sakura? What does a win even mean lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Goes straight to web page for me from the Tapatalk app. Maybe try using a link? https://www.husky-owners.com/forum/topic/73322-july-husky-of-the-month-poll/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Looks husky/mal to me. Has similar face structure to my Husky/Mal mix and has that thicker neck mane and longer nose. My female is 75lbs and huge compared to female huskies. Hell huge compared to some of the males too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Sakura enjoying some stick time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Seems that I lost the app in Tapatalk for a while there. Hope everyone’s been doing well. Here are some recent pics of Sakura. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
