Hey everyone! My name is Aly and I have a 3mo pup named Bowie. I’ve had him for about 3 weeks and we live in Chicago (for now). He is the happiest puppy I’ve ever met and full of energy. Thankful to say my house is still in one piece....as of today [emoji4]. He has definitely mastered his howl and loves attention. I’m excited to learn from you all as this is my first husky! Hi everybody! I'm a new member here on Husky Owners! I'm 15 and I have a husky named Bucky! (after the Marvel character of course!) He's sweet but also very crazy. Hello my name is Mercedes, I’m from Fort Worth, Tx. I’m new on here and also a first time Husky owner. I have a 15 month old Husky names Ares! He was pretty much left on my door step by a family member that didn’t want him any more due to his hyper ness. He was givin to me without knowing he had parvo but he pushed through and survived. ❤️ Not 100% sure if he is full bred but still love him to death, no one could really tell me.

Hi, I'm Jamie, we just adopted a Husky/Wolf mix. He's about 18 months old, we believe he is deaf. I'm hoping to learn how to efficiently start training with him. I've taught hand commands to my previous dogs but not sure how to go about it with a pup thats deaf.

Hello my name is Whitney and my fiance's name is Jon. We have owned our huskies for 2 years now. They are a ball of fun, and mischief. Thanks for letting me join. We adopted Milo, a 4 1/2 year old dog in November. The shelter told us he has some husky in him. We have been working with a trainer that recommended we have his DNA tested, to see what we’re working with. Milo’s DNA results came in last night and he’s 50% Siberian Husky and 50% Labrador. Hopefully now, it will be easier to work on some Milo’s quirks. Does anyone have a dog that screams like he’s being killed??? He only screams when he sees another dog. He not being aggressive just very excited. But it can be intimidating to others when a 80 pound is screaming at their dog. Anyone ever deal with an issue like this? Any thoughts …

Hiya, We are new to this group and new to being a husky owner! I love dogs and my boyfriends dream dog is a husky - so we are now the super proud owner of Loki a beautiful 9week old S.Husky pup. We picked him up just over a week ago and since then we have had lots of fun and giggles - but a LOT of problems, mainly crate training/nighttime. I am desperately seeking advice at night he will fall asleep in his crate and will be taken out twice throughout the night to toilet but he still cries all night and goes to the toilet in the crate making one stonking mess!! We just brought home our beautiful new husky, Halo, on Saturday. We love her! She came to us with a reasonably good grasp of sit, leave it, and on by. Hasn't had a single accident in the house, and once we put the easy walk harness on her, she is fantastic on the leash with us too. I'm sure she'll get more and more mischievous as she settles in - but we're giving her lots of structure and clear house rules. So far, so good!
