Hello! Just thought I'd do a quick introduction! My name's Keira and I currently own (or should I say "I'm owned by") two Siberian Huskies. I live with my boyfriend on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. My oldest is called Byron (aka Nairebis Wind River), he's going to be 10 in June, I've had him since he was 8 weeks old. The other one is called Alpha (he would be a Skimarque but he's not registered). He was returned to his breeder when he was about 8 months old and I took him on when he was 15 months. He is cross-eyed and has retinal detachment which has unfortunately got worse as he's got older. He's going to be 7 on Saturday and you wouldn't believe he…

She is finally home, I am so happy. Articuno has worm in her poo =(. The owner said that she might have some worm but its ok because she just got de-wormed. Well any ways here are a bunch of pictures. That is her favorite toy so far. Playing with Stitch. I'm so glad they get along. That is her first toy shes playing with. How cute, she is peeing. She is very playful, shes already playing tug-o-war. Shes only been with me for less that 3 hours. Taking a nap with her new best friend after tug-o-war.

Hi all I have just posted in another topic, but thought I would do a proper intro in a new thread as I like to make myself known I was told about husky-owners.com by a gentleman who comes into the pet shop where I am manager. He owns a gorgeous Siberian called Keisha (I think that's how you spell that). I love huskies and think they are just the most stunning animals on the planet! My dream is to set up my very own dog kennels to look after peoples pups when they are away, and also provide dog day care and grooming facilities, which would mean I could easily own my own husky once again - attached is a picture of Koho (now called Timber) who was my h…

Hey guys like the title says me and my wife just got our dream dog, she is 8 weeks old very pretty. Here are some pics. I have one concern tho, she rarely plays a lot and all she wants to do is sleep lol, i thought pups were hyper and all. Is this normal for husky pups? My wife is afraid she may be sick,. But than again it is her second day that we've had her so idk if she is depressed and sad she left her brothers. What do you guys think?

Hello I'm new to owning a Husky. I had a lab for many years. I just got Lady over the weekend. she is still getting use to everything I'm sure. I do have a couple questions though. When we got her she came from a shelter. They said they think there may have been some abuse. I really don't know she is 7 months old. she is great one minute and the next she is showing her teeth and trying to snap. The shelter said this should stop soon she is trying to get use to everything. there are so many sites out there you don't know who to listen to. I really love her she stole my heart when I saw her. but I don't know what to do about the showing of the teeth and snaping. that's the …

Hi everyone! I'm really happy to have found this place. A few days ago I adopted a beautiful Husky girl from my local animal shelter. They said she was under a year but her teeth say she's at least 5-6 years old. She has some arthritis and hip problems, but is still a very active and happy girl. I'm happy to have her in my life and she's been a wonderful addition to my family already. I still don't have a name for her yet though, LOL. But anyway, we're looking forward to getting to know everyone! And here's a picture of my girl. I have some better pictures but haven't taken them off the camera yet. I'll post more soon!

Hello All I am new on here and I'm unsure what to do as I'm not technical (compterwise) so registered and didn't know how to get on here so I'm really hoping this works! We don't have a Husky as yet but are really interested in rehoming one, we at present have a cross Springer/Chocolate Lab - we call him a 'Springerdor' called Ollie, he is ridiculously handsome and turned 4 at the beginning of this month. I was pointed in the direction of this website by someone on here in conversation on the phone and have been popping in here for weeks and finally got the courage to come say 'hi'

Hello all! My name is Nick and I am a 24 year old college student majoring in vocal performance in Ohio, USA. When I was growing up I had a, all white female Sibe with two bright blue eyes named Sasha and she was in the family for YEARS. Last year while I was away at college I got word that my parents decided to put her down since she had cancer and arthritis and had to be carried into the yard to go to the bathroom. I didn't even get to say good bye to her and was pretty devastated so my fiance suggested we get a dog and I naturally went straight to huskies. I got Dante when he was about 3 months old from a breeder nearby about a month or so after Sasha had be…

Introducing Darwin 1 2 3

Hi, Guys some of you may have noticed that my profile said that Today I was off on a secret mission. Well that was to go and meet and hopefully collect Darwin. Darwin has been owned by Dan and Laura in London, unfortunately they were unable to give Darwin the space and time he needed. They really did thier best but he became too restless and destructive, and they made the brave but painful Decision to re-home him. They contacted thier friend Heather AKA Magical Merlin who put him up on the site for re-home. Dan however found it very hard to part with this loving boy. (totally understandable) Eventually though they came to thier final decision…

Heya everyone.. First thanks to those who responded to my zinc question on puppys earlier. I thought i should include a few pics of my stunning Sib Lunar is was born on December 25th 2009 I have had her from 10 weeks old and loving every minute with her.. I honestly have to say she has been far more well behaved than I even possibly could of imagined, she does not chew a thing and has really settled into our house well! We have been going to classes and worked on her recall a lot, so far she is great off the lead but I always have that little doubt in my end that one day she will do a runner haha.. My wife Amanda is …

hi, im new here. I'm Jennet, and I have one husky, his name is Embry. He will be 7 months on May 4th and he has been a ton of fun! I got him for Christmas from my boyfriend, best Christmas gift ever, wouldn't mind another one next year not that it'll happen, he's a little devil. He currently is taking puppy classes at Petsmart every friday, short attention span? Yes! but it's a lot of fun.

Hi everyone. So, obviously, I'm new to these forums. I have one Red/White husky, but shes more dark brown & white than red. Her names Skylar. She just turned 2 on April 5th. Ive had her since she was a pup. I have my own business so I bring her to work with me everyday then to the dog park or running afterward. I live in an apartment so I don't really have the choice to leave her at home. Hmm what else. I feed her Orijen and/or EVO and try to make her treats when I can, if not, she gets the dried chicken or liver treats. =) She was hit by a car at 9 months old when a friend let her out of the apartment and then proceeded to "chase her down" right into the s…
