Hi everyone. My name is Claire and I'm 24 years old. I live in Northamptonshire, UK. I just got my 14 weeks old husky gsd cross Luna from her first owner who couldn't manage her. I'm finding her a sweet and friendly dog, although she does indeed have a mind of her own. She's mostly obedient, lol. Since she hasn't had her jabs yet i cant take her out, but i'm getting the jabs next week. I was wondering what foods do you feed your huskies on and how much? Are any of them trustworthy off the lead? My interests include Tattoos and piercings, animals, horse riding, internet, 50's and goth fasion, burlesque and pin-up art, Junko Mizuno comics, …

Hello, Been reading a lot about huskies for a while now having wanted one for just over two years, I am finally in the position to own one Will be picking our black and white male up on the 17th of April. However I have read a few times that it is advised to never let a husky of the lead loose, but one day I intend to let it of the lead whilst I take it hiking with me. I don't mind having it on a harness but I'd prefer it if he could have his own freedom. Does anybody have any experience with teaching a husky to walk of a lead? A few years ago I owned a golden lab which would walk beside me, and come back when called but I fou…

She appeared on my doorstep! I have ALWAYS wanted a Husky... what are the odds that one would appear on my doorstep? She did have a city tag with a number on it we have tried to contact the owners but they have yet to return our calls. I realize you are all owners but I am REALLY hoping they DON'T call us..... and frankly who waits over 24 hrs to look for their dog??? We have another dog Gizmo (a Shi Tzu) and I can tell ya the minute he is unaccounted for I…

Hello everyone! I'm Landon, a graduate student at the University of Memphis. I currently do not own any huskies. However, it is my intention to change that. This will not be my first dog, however. We had a labrador retriever mix we got as a puppy in '89, who lived a healthy, happy 14 years with our family. (I'm a firm believer that every kid should have a dog to grow up with.) I've decided that I'm ready to have a new dog, and looking into various breeds and I'm coming to the conclusion that a husky would be a good choice, given what I've read about their personality traits, which generally seem to fall under "smart" and "curious". …
