Hi all! I've been reading the posts on the forum for a while and finally joined. I live in the US and have a 1 year old Siberian Husky named Denira (Nira). She is spoiled to death (as I imagine most of our pets are). I "rescued" her at 8 months old from a couple who were trying to keep her in an apartment with no space to exercise her. Nira loves morning runs and driving my 10 year old thoroughbred completely crazy. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and their huskies! Nikki

Hey ya'll! My husband and I just got our Sibe puppy three weeks ago. Mishka was only four weeks old when we got her, so it hasn't been easy. She's now 7 weeks old and she's doing great! Although, she has a problem with biting. Our biggest concern is teaching her proper bite inhibition. We also have two cats, and we hope to continue socializing them so they can all live together peacefully (or, relatively so). If any one has any advice on raising a young Sibe puppy that was taken away from her mom too soon, or just any advice in general I'd really appreciate it!! So far, this forum has been an AMAZING resource. I'm so happy I stumbled upon it. Oh, and I have to…

Well I guess I should introduce myself I'm new as of yesterday when I posted about how I was worried about lil Loki. (he's doing better now) Anyways my name is Lena an the new addition as of a few months now is Loki. Got him at 10 weeks, he had to be flown to us. He's black/white/grey his back markings on his back kinda remind me of a skunk ha ha. He's not a big fan of rain...and well we live in WA state so thats going to be fun... He's such a love, he loves everyone and with new people acts as if he never gets attention haha. He tries to play with my 17yr old cat marsic, but he just wont have any of it. He goes crazy chasing his squeaky toy and te…

Read about the walks in the park in the newspaper and thought I'd pop in here and say Hi, we have a 4 year old siberiannamed Marley, got him from my partners nephew when he was 3, it's took a while to get used to him and get him a bit better trained but we feel were getting there now with him, the only main problem with have with him is his instinct to protect whatever he regards as his (even if it's not his!) Here's a pic anyway : Cheers Steve

In addition to Fletcher we have two daughters 2 and 12 month and 2 sons 12 and 7... We're all looking forward to the next party in the park. Hoping to make a few new friends, so hopefully speak to you soon. Any veteran owners advice v v v welcome!!!!

I have few hobbies including mushing with the dogs, a G reg mini rolling restoration (Almost finished now), and playing guitar. I'm just coming to the end of my A levels. Here's me and my team We've been training since 2008 and we've entered a few rallies, really in need of a van for the next season to do more rallies.

Hi. Thought i'd register after a couple of weeks of browsing the site, me, my other half and 3 kids are bringing home our first Siberian Husky in 2 weeks time, after a fair bit of research and seeing other peoples huskies we decided we'd give one a new home. Were probably biased but we think he's the most gorgeous puppy out there We are stuck on a name for him at the minute but have 2 weeks to choose, the wife wants to name him Zorro but i'm not convinced Anyway i'll post a pic or 2 and go read some more of the forum to see if there's any info around that i missed.

Well now, I may have goofed up the Gallery photos! What a way to introduce myself. Good grief. My name is Shirley. I'm married to a guy who isn't computer-challenged, who is asleep, and can not help the one who is. It's just about 11:30 at night here in Florida and I'm too sleepy to figure out much more than to apologize in advance when folks wonder who blew the Gallery to smithereens...(secretly I blame the cat). I have more photos but ought to wait till tomorrow to post anymore. Maybe the first thing I should do is fix the one already posted, although not sure yet how to do that; that photo just looks like I posted it wrong. Or something. It looks too bi…

Hey, just saying hello. I'm new to the forum. Um i guess i should introduce my dog as well. I have a 9 month old pure white husky named Ellie. She has the typical light blue husky eyes, she weights 52 pounds last time we went to the vet and she can be a real brat. She has a habit of turning toys inside out, digging anywhere she can and typically likes to wake me up at 5 in the morning. Hmm well i really dont know what else to say.

Just a quick hello to everyone on here, will post a picture etc when my internet speeds up, almost at a standstill after 5.30pm. Thanks for having me. My name is steve and my girlfriend is Donna and we have had Marley for 5 weeks now, he has been pushed from pillar to post so we took him in, we live in the middle of Nowhere so it is ideal for him to run around and have fun. He is a gorgeous boy and is 14 months old, he has brown eyes and is grey and white, we walk him about 6/7 miles a day in the surrounding fields and love him to bits, He now runs off the lead and 90% of the time he returns on call no problem. Unfortunately he …

Hello everyone! My name is Celia, and I am a proud owner of a four-year old fiesty fun-sized husky named "Wolfie" (picked out by my unimaginative boyfriend before I met him -rolls eyes-). I am a groomer, and a doodler at times (art is my thing. ). I am also an avid dog show fan and guinea pig lover. Eeesh. I found this site through a simple google search, to be quite honest. So far, I am extremely impressed. It's wonderful to see so many beautiful huskies in one place! I know I blew up everyone's gallery up there. :C I want to add more, but you know... >_> I don't like to spam everyone's stuff. Haha. So anywho, you'll see a lot of m…

Hello everyone I am new to the site As of Dec last year new to owning a husky my son Luke and his gf bought him from a Sydney breeder for us as a Xmas present after we just lost our beautiful 6yr old newfoundland dog suddenly my family consists of me, my hubby (Mick) and my daughter 12yrs old Leeci and we are used to the big slow 75kilo Newfoundland dog, so only similarity with a husky would have to be the coat issues, looks like when the husky coat blows its going to be a real treat Anyway I have noticed people seem to have more then 1 husky, whats the benifits of this? we are mostly at home apart from going out for dinner or to do some shopping, but…

Hey everybody! My girl Summer just arrived today! It took me forever to lure her out of the kennel my god. Brought her home, played with her, fed her, put her in the crate and she had a huge accident in it! Took forever to clean! I need to put some pads there! After the accident, she started howling like crazy and kept squeezing herself into the opposite corner. It was so cute but also a little frustrating that such a big accident happened the first night lol oh well. How often should I feed her? Water? And what do you feed your husky with? I need all the tips you've got!

Hi, I came acrosss this site whilst reading a local newspaper and saw an article on the meet in Heaton Park. I was lucky enough to get my half husky 8 years ago (the other half is springer spaniel). She's quite a character but I love her to bits. I can't wait to see if there will be another meet at the park and will deffinately think about going :-)
