Hi, I'm Mary and I've just found this site. I have been the proud owner of a beautiful Siberian bitch called Zac (mistaken gender at 8 weeks but the name stuck) for four and a half years. As a family we have just moved over to the UK from Spain and we are reloacating to Oxford. I was wondering if there are any husky owners and/or trekking centres down in Oxfordshire as our girl just loves meeting other dogs, especially boys, and it would be great to be able to meet up with fellow husky people. I'll get a photo posted of my gorgeous girl just as soon as I can work out how

Thanks to all for the welcome! I'm another one from Iowa - I live near "Austinville", who told me of this site, so you can blame her for inviting me! I have 12 Siberians - 8 males, 4 females, ranging in age from a year to 13 years; most of them are spayed/neutered. All are varying shades of black/white or gray/white, and a mix of eye colors. They're from a mix of show and sledding lines. I have shown in conformation and obedience, played around with agility, and love to sled, although I haven't managed much of any of them in the last couple of years. Mostly, I enjoy spending time with my guys - I like doing things with them more than I like competing. I am a …

Hi, we are Paul & Lynda and have a 7 month siberian husky Keisha, who up to a couple of months ago was ending up the husky scrap pile but has since won our hearts again with her cheeky smile and sly looks. Saw the site in the local rag today St Helens reporter and was very intrigued to know that there is husky meets to let the dogs be what they are which is a pack dog. Would be very interested in attending some of these meets, gutted missed out on heaton park today as only got on the site at 3.30pm, so ended up walking around sherdley park meeting a few malamutes etc and lots of peeps saying we had a wolf lol. Hi, I'm a keen dog lover and up to a few days ago I only had two dogs, a mad Springer Spaniel and a long haired German Shepherd. My son wanted a Siberian for his 21st birthday so I bought him the most cutest blue eyed 10 week old puppy I could find ( Sky ). After watching her antics for a few days I decided to get another one but this time it was a 10 week old GS X Siberian boy named ( Tao. ) I'm 68 and they have made me feel young again. I do Metal Detecting on a farm just down the road from me so I have plenty of open space to exersize them on ........Ron

Hi Everybody, My name is Claudia but I go by cad, and I’m from Dallas,Texas. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for the amazing welcome I’ve received since I signed up yesterday. You have no idea how happy I amthat I found this website. My family andI are first time owners of a gorgeous Siberian Husky named Remy LeBeau (yes after Gambit from X-Men) and he has brought so much happiness into our lives. Last weekend we took him to his first year checkup and we found a vet we wanted to make his vet for life, who happens to be the owner of huskies himself. I did a lot of research and was excited that I found him here in our area.…

Hello first off sorry for the very lengthy post. My name is Jeff and I have 1 husky named Duke. He lives with me, my fiancé and her 4 yr old son. We live in an urban area, but are active outdoorsy type of people and take Duke everywhere we go. A little about the story of how I’ve become a husky owner is when I was 8 yrs old a husky runaway came to my house while I was playing basketball outside of my house. Frankly scared the heck out of me as I thought he was a wolf (roll eyes). I ran inside and got my father and told them there was a wolf outside. He came outside and corrected me and told me it was a Husky. The husky had no collar, but …

Hi everyone, we are new to this site and are finding it so helpful and FUN so a big thankyou. We have 3 dogs in total...Kaya our 9 month old, absolutely crazy sibe, then there is Dougle our 3 year old slightly dippy old english sheepdog, then there is Yogi our 14 year old crossbreed who we class as the grampa! It is super to meet people as crazy as us! At least now when we are out with the 2 kids and of course the "pack" and people give us that "ARE YOU NUTS LOOK!" we know there are others out there as crazy as us too hee hee! It would be fantastic to meet up to introduce Kaya to other huskies so if anyone is living in or around the telford area we could arrange a doggy…

Hi everyone, finally found somewhere that is as obsessed with huskies as i am. We are a couple from W Yorkshire who have had the pleasure of huskies for the last 15 years, unfortunately our old boy went over rainbow bridge on the 12th of June at a grand yound age of 14.5, he did leave us however with his daughter who has never been alone since she was a pup, so we gave her a bit of time to adjust to see if she would be ok, but within a few days she became withdrawn so we agreed it would be ok to find her a companion, only one we agreed no more than that as it would be too much, her name by the way is Diezel, however after trawling through papers and reading all…

Just thought i would say hi, i dont own a husky (yet!!). I have a very boisterous 14mth old which is my foster dog. He's gorgeous but my goodness he needs some training! Huskys do seem to be deaf when it comes to instructions...unless of course food is involved!! We are currently looking for a small 2 berth caravan to be able to come to some of the rallies and get out and about more throughout the winter. For the first time EVER I'm actually looking forward to the winter. I really dont do tents in cold weather. My scooter should be arriving today so im dead excited... I'm looking forward to meeting some of you. claire
