I am having trouble with my printer - as you know, I'm trying to print husky pics for the personalised keyrings, which is proving very difficult now! It was telling me the "red" ink was half full but it would not print any red. I have done several nozzle checks & head cleaning but still no joy. I even changed the cartridge for a brand new one - still nothing (this printer has the 4 separate colour cartridges). It is an Epson Stylus SX400. I have emailed the company but don't expect a reply any time soon so what else can I try? Anyone any ideas??

Will be using software such as Photoshop/other editing software, photo studio software, will be using internet also, prob other photo related software EDIT: Seem to find Windows easier to work with than Apple BTW

I know they exist as I've seen someone using one before but I can't seem to find any! I go away every year on a sort of 'photography holiday' and end up coming back with about 5,000 photos from 2 weeks, generally shot in RAW if I have the space. I usually take my laptop with me so I can clear my memory cards as I go (I'll come back with SO many GB of photos I couldn't possibly keep them all on the memory cards until I get home!) but because I don't want to put my laptop into my hold luggage, and my carry on this year has been downsized so it won't fit my laptop, I want to get one of these external hard drives with a screen so I can load my photos onto that and have a flic…

Have decided I am going to have a play with Ubuntu again, however I want to do it and avoid windows for a while to force msyelf to learn it. For anyone else who wants to try and do this, I recommend not using the windows installer if you want a fast system. I installed it using that a few week ago and wasnt impressed with the speed of it. Even though windows is not running when ubuntu is, it would seem you just dont get as clean an install. Time to see what this BlueWolf keeps bangin on about

Anybody else play MMO's? xD I myself play quite the handful. If nothing else, I've posted pictures of one of the MMO's I play to share with you all. Pictures are scaled down about 50%.

Does anyone know of a free converter that will convert my MKV files to either MP4 or MPG? I've tried Prism which is what I normally use but they have changed their software so you need to pay for any conversion that isn't avi.

K not sure if you guys can see what I mean (the dark splashes) I see it all the time at tho moment. I left my phone in my backpack at canine capers and as you know there was a little bit of rain and now there's water under my screen. The phone works fine so the water hasn't gotten into any components (I don't think) but any ideas on how I can get the water from under the screen? So I'm slowly learning how to use GIMP and using some online tools to do small photo manipulations and editing. Well I have 3 avatars I've made, one for each of my dogs. I was wondering if someone could please put them together in a gif (I think) so that it switches between the photos. I want to use this as my avatar lol. Thanks in advance :3 and here are the avatars

Ok you tech savvy lot, I have an external hard drive, I thought I would be a good idea to move all my stuff onto it to free up my lap top (hoping to make my lap top run quicker). Now when I plug the external hard drive in it is no longer being recognised?!?! It's one that gets plugged into a power socket and then into the laptop via USB. Does any one know if there is a way that all my stuff can be retrieved from the hard drive? It has all Nanooks puppy pics on there and I would hate to loose them all Any help would be very appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner
