Hi, I can't seem to find a weight chart for husky puppies. I have a 5 months pup and he's 38 pound. I just want to check he's in par with what he should be.

Hi im new here, my 2 month old husky is playing besides my feet and suddenly he bites me leaving a scratch. It is not bleeding I immidietly wash it by alcohol and there's no pain and also a soap. My dog is having the last vaccine of 5in1 on April 3. Should I consult my doctor about this? Or Im still safe for having a rabies

I was on my way home from work when my dad called me and said that my husky, Walker, had just had a seizure (he has never had one before that we know of). Worried, I sped home and by the time I arrived he was back to normal. My dad said he heard a kicking/knocking sound coming from the living room and when he went in there he saw Walker under the coffee table (That's his spot) smacking his head and limbs on all of the table posts. He pulled him out from under the table carefully and talked to him and pet him. He said this made him more calm. It lasted for 5+ minutes and he didn't regain control of his mouth until a little while after it was all over. But during the seizu…

Hey! My husky is 5 months old now, and we never crate trained her, is it too late to start now? She is crazy! Rough plays, biting, full of energy. We love her she is super funny. But many bad behaviours have to stop.

Hi all, I know this question was asked a couple of years ago and that thread was helpful but I have a couple of other questions. I'm going to be a first time dog owner and I'm very interested in getting a husky despite the fact that everyone suggests a retriever for a first dog. I've done weeks of research so I think I've got a grip on all the drawbacks but I wanted to dig deeper into a few of them. The first one has to do with space. I know having a backyard is ideal for owning a husky but I'm a city dweller. My apartment is two stories and pretty well sized for an apartment but it's still an apartment. There's a dog park less than ten minutes away that I'd be…

Hello you fine husky owners, Another question from me as I'm intrigued to know as I purposely picked the runt of the litter he was much smaller than his littermate but I knew I had the time for him and to help him have a nice healthy happy life. Questions are: Does anybody have the runt of the litter if so how far on are they and how big has he/she grown? Preferably pictures & a tad advice on what you done for them etc; Do they grow full size or will the be very small always? Many Thanks, Aaron & Samantha

Hello! New to this kind of stuff, Husky and these kinds of forums. I would like some advice. I've done some research on this breed, it was quick research as we needed to decide very quickly if we wanted our new puppy or not. After about an hour of short research, we got her, to which they informed us in the buying process that she is fully potty-pad trained (I'm not a fan of pee pads and I've never worked with them and while I follow the instructions, I still have issues). We have had her since Valentines Day (7 days today). She sometimes has trouble, or could just be her being spiteful, keeping her to pee on the pee pad we have in place and finds little puddles in o…

Hi all. This is Shiloh, he's roughly a yr old and we adopted him last week. he's doing good on leash, I've taught him sit and lie down. working on OFF the sofa, tough but he's getting there. I could do with some guidance when it comes to approaching people in the street, especially if they have a dog or have a dog on the opposite side of the street. He literally hops on his hind legs, jumps and screeches. people are avoiding us and I can barely pull him down and take control. I'm using lots of positive reinforcement, constantly praising him and using treats when he does what I ask, but I don't know where to start with this one. Thank you. Sent from my [d…

Hello everyone. I'm about to adopt a puppy which is 30 Days old and i'd like to show some pictures of her and get your opinion. And also another pup which is a bit older than her and from a different breeder and i'd love if you could tell me what you think of both. Is it me or younger puppy's muzzle is wide? Or is it because she is too young now? Thank you!

Hi we adopted our husky cross when she was 6 months old. She has now been with us a month. What do you think she is mixed with? Her name is Joyce and she has a beautiful burnt orange coat. She weighs about 40 lb currently.

Hi everyone! I was hoping to get recommendations for a crate. We adopted Bandit (turning 1 on the 26th) last Saturday from a rescue, and found the crate we used previously will not hold him (imagine that, lol!). I've looked online, but I feel hearing from actual husky owners would be more beneficial! I'm not willing to pay $800... $200 or less range is doable. Thank you in advance!!

Hey, New to this forum. We are the proud owners of an almost 4 month old sweetheart named Sadie. Long story short she was a cast-off from a backyard breeder and through a long route ended up in our family. We know now that she has an Ectopic Ureter and that this is probably the reason the breeder did not want her. She has been evaluated by a vet and we have a referral to UGA for the surgery. I am fairly certain that her level of issue could be addressed with the laser ablation method. We are currently trying to fundraise for the surgery only, we are paying for everything else out of pocket right now (diapers, UTI test sticks, antibiotics, special food). The surgery …

My son bought a husky and brought it home when he was 8 weeks old and from the moment he came into my house the lil guy followed me everywhere and slept near me and always in my room at night. Its been 2 yrs now, I have my sweet boy still as my son said I broke his dog and have him to me. Whenever anyone comes over it's a iffy situation with him. He will move to stand directly in front of me blocking whoever is over including my kids. They know when he does That not to approach me or they'll get pushed back. Is this normal? He just started this behavior in the last 6 months. He doesn't body block the other animals just people. He still sleeps in my room close by at night …

Hello. I'm new to the forum and i'm about to adopt a husky but before i do that i want to make sure if the breeder is honest and the parents of the puppy i'm about to adopt is purebred and quality huskies. I'd like you guys to take a look at this one and tell me what you think. Is this a quality or even a purebred husky? I know you cannot know for sure judging from a picture but i'd like to know what you guys think. Thank you!
