Emma
Did they say why they thought she was mixed? Obviously without paperwork it’s impossible to say for sure but she looks like a husky to me, she’s a red to boot. Beautiful colour. Luv my husky
We have a wonderful 3 month old husky... but we keep getting comments that she looks mixed.. any ideas? we did not get papers bc it didn't really matter to us. breeder said both parents were huskies but the female mom had no papers.... colors are red, white, black She’s lovely! This is my husky @ 2 1/2 months. Autumn and your puppy have very similar colors. Your puppy definitely has husky ears, nose, legs, and eyes, and paws. Autumn’s tail is not curled yet. I hope this helps. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Rachael_Astro
As above, I wouldn't listen to what people say! Markie
Mine must be non huskies then...both do not have curled tails...and I know several here that have straight tails... No I didn't say they weren't huskies lol it's just odd. Sorry if you took that way. I know they are suppose to be curled but it could just be a genetic fault which is no big deal [emoji2]Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app

ShyLoh
Your puppy could have some seppala lines in her, based on her markings. If you look up Seppala husky, you would know what I mean.

As the tail is supposed to be straight and down whilst at a resting position and only really held high and in a crescent shape when excited or interested in something. So most of the time it would be down, maybe that’s what the poster meant? Not sure. Ice on the other hand has his tail virtually always held up and in a full circle doughnut shape which i know is a fault. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app No they go down but a trait of a Spitz Family dog is a tail curled lol they go down when they want to kill something or they are really angry or when they are being put in place but it goes right to curl when they are happy. BingBlaze n Skyla
A huskies tail is not supposed to curl , a huskies tail is down when relaxed and when alert should curl in a sickle curve if it curls round and touches the back it is a fault Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app Here we go These are faults Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
Markie
Dont forget excited [emoji6] my huskies have their tails curled most of the time. Usually pulling or trying to kill something gets their tails down fast. It's easier to show Conformation if the tail is all the way down [emoji4] I just want to make it clear that I didn't say their tails need to be in a curl all the time. It's different nothing wrong with it. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
chelseafan
because of her color One of mine is a red, my favourite colour in husky’s, and I have no end of questions about it from people, I think it’s that people think husky’s are only black/white, grey or white. She’s gorgeous [emoji3]Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Apparently they don’t come in white and therefore must be a white German shepherd [emoji849][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
