Does anyone have one or know of someone that has an Alaskan Klee Kai breed of dog. I met two at the weekend and at first from a distance thought they were husky puppies. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this breed of dog at all? Thanks, x

So as I've mentioned on her own topic, Nadia's been poorly for a week or so and last night she had to go in to the vets to be put on IV antibiotics.. While we were there 4 of the most gorgeous kittens went home with their foster mum.. The vet managed to convince my OH and I that Nadia really needs some new playmates so we're taking 2 gorgeous tabbies home in 2 weeks. They're 3.5-4 weeks old right now, cute little fluffy tabbies, with a tiny patch of ginger on their foreheads. We just have to wait till May 2 to bring them home to their big brother Pasha and even bigger sister Nadia I just wish I'd taken photos to share with you all

So we got a new pup today from a breeder. :) She's a darling GSD pup. Her name is Sasha. So adorable! Scout has sniffed her around... she pretty much ignores him. HAHA. It's cute.

Hi all, I was just wondering if any one has any experience in feeding their other dogs or cats on Barf or Raw? I’m currently changing Strikes diet to Barf with meaty bones, I was chopping up some chicken breast and the cats showed an interest and my Chihuahua, I gave the cats a bit but she looked at it, licked, chewed it a bit, pawed it and then stared at it , I’m not sure she knows was to do with it . But my Chihuahua will lick it and then carry it off to hide it, which is my worse nightmare raw chicken all over the house! I even tired him on a little chicken wing and he sniffed turned his nose up walked away, he only seems to like c…

Hi, I have one of those and wondered if anybody has one too? They are absolutely amazing dogs, especially when it comes to kids-they just admire them and can be quite protective!

...my mice! Not Kiska (probably would have worked better if you couldn't see the section this was posted in but whatever ). Anyway I picked up some show type mice a few weeks ago and the buck is finally old enough to breed so when I cleaned them out yesterday I put him in with two of the does I bought, and I've also paired up my pet type buck with a young pet type doe to try and improve on the colouring and markings Finally going to have more baby meeces around, I've missed having them sooo much! I can remember if I posted any photos of the new ones, but just in case I didn't here they are: The buck (he's a lit bigger now): …

Teddy has a friend when he goes out on walks. Angel is an American pit bull terrier and she's very friendly. They get along very well. She's four years old and still playful, Teddy is about a year old and the two like to play. This was on our walk, my phone sucks at taking pictures, so sorry for low quality.

I can't BELIEVE I've not made a thread like this before!!!! As you can see from my avatar I do have another amazing pet besides Kiska Her name is Zuri, which is African for 'beautiful', which she definately is! She's a senegal parrot, one of the smaller African species. I got her after asking my parents if I could get a SNAKE - we went looking around a local pet shop for snake supplies but they didn't have ANY reptile stuff. They did, however, have a lot of birds, including a young male senegal parrot that my dad fell in love with. My dad is scared of snakes and said "Why don't you want a pet like this instead???" ....... "I DO want a pet like that, but mum's …

now most of us don't have to worry about these...and well most of the year this isn't an issue...in fact until last weekend I was totally done with dealing with this...today I just wasn't thinking about it. So...I take Tinkerbell out to go potty...she prefers a spot by the side of the house and as we're still potty training I'm just elated when she makes it outside...anywho so she squats and starts to do her business when half melted stabby icicles of doom come crashing down off our roof missing her by less than three inches. She consequently cut her pottying off right then and there. I walked her around a bit more whilst my heart quit pounding and it seemed …

Had mom-in-law take Kit back to the vets. Still throwing up a bit and runny poo. Lethargic. Have a call in to the humane society, but know they will just say to return her and then they'll put her down, so..... Bring on the vet bills! Now I find out that sister-in-law also got a very sick cat from there about a month ago. GREAT! Send good thoughts Kit's way, please.

Sadly most of the plants are now dead, I think I might get some fake ones 3 Bristlenose plecos, 8 harlequin rasbora, 2 remaining cardinal tetras, 5 glowlight tetras, 5 leopard danios. Ops forgot there may be one or two baby guppies in there hiding. We arn't adding until after we move in august as we may loose some in the move... hoping not though. Fully stocked 168ltr tank.

This is my African Pygmy hedgehog, she is an old hoggy at 4 years. They rarely live past 6 tbh. I love her so much! She makes me laugh, she snuffles up bits of chicken and chases the dogs around the dining room!

Noticed Bings teeth are getting quite bad - plaque and 1 of them seems to have chipped? (not causing him ANY pain what so ever) and his breath is getting quite wiffy not sure how old he is but he is roughly around 12/13 - would say nearer the 13 mark tbh - he was around 3 years old when we got him and weve owned him for about 8 and a half years now so im gonna go with not long ago turned about 13 year old - or he is very close to that age anyway he overly keen with me messing around with his mouth so i cant brush his teeth, he wont touch carrots, and he cant eat bones as they make him throw up - not sure about dentistix cuz i dont wanna pay ALOT of…

Does anyone own a Shiba? Kiana has made friend's with a couple shibas a the park and I've had great fun talking to the owners about the breed they sound very husky like in their temperament and generally actions. Just curious if anyone owns one and sees a correlation between the two?

Becky (Austinville) lost her cat, Kat, today, and is very sad... She needs some serious hugs! She won't likely be online until she's at work on Monday, though.

Does anyone have an Akita and a husky here? I'm curious I was reading up on them and there seems to be a lot of contradiction about their over all aggressiveness. One place says they tend to be aggressive toward small dogs but another says if you socialize them they will be less aggressive but still be aggressive? Totally confusing and I'm curious is this all biased statistical opinion like with pitbulls. When raised correctly and socialized properly all dogs have the potential to be good loving citizens of society or am I wrong?
