Hey All, I am a new husky mama located in Nashville Tennessee and I am needing some advice from you all that have more experience with caring for your pup. Blaze is currently 4 days old and I will be welcoming him into my home on June 26th. I have a 2 year old daughter, and I wanted her to have a forever fur friend she can grow up with. I am going to consider him my son and her little brother lol. I chose a husky because of their loyalty. I wanted a dog that would be a great companion for me and my daughter. Hi all! I am Gian and my husky's name is Didi. We are from Manila, Philippines. I'm glad to see a forum dedicated for raising these huskies. I am an avid fan of this breed. Didi is born on Jan. 21, 2020. Right now, she is 9 weeks old and weighs 5.53 KG. Here are some pics of her 😃 She is actually my second husky. Unfortunately, my first one, Sean, passed away. Hi everyone! My family has owned huskies and malamutes since I was born. I discovered this group because I’m now raising a female husky I adopted about 8 months ago. Prior to this, the huskies we have had were all from the same breeder who has since retired. Living downtown creates a bit of a tricky situation because at my parents, we can let her run around the backyard. Now, that’s totally dependant on walks, which I’ve enjoyed! Yesterday, however, I was bringing Aspen inside when I saw ticks on the top of her fur. Then my dad found one nearly between her eyes; later we took her collar off to find a few big ones underneath. Hi everyone. Let me start off by telling you a little about myself. I am married and have been married newly for two years to my wonderful husband and we have two amazing sons ages 4 & 1. And obviously we are very new to owning a Husky. We go and pick up our precious new fur baby in 2 weeks and I am trying to learn all I can about this breed that I do not know yet because we plan on having more then just this one eventually. Hey, there. My name is Rachel and I'm 24. I currently live in rural New Hampshire (USA) with my husband. We've been married about 3 years and just had our first kid: a husky puppy we adopted from Mexico named Oxxo. (Named after a Mexican convenience store we frequented for snacks.) He is not technically a rescue but his adoption did involve a Facebook comment, a shady basement in Guadalajara, a last minute decision to fly home with a puppy, and a forged vet document from a slightly intoxicated veterinarian. Kind of par for the course in Mexico. I am not a first time dog owner, but my first dog was a golden retriever. Unfortunately my mom didn't train our golden well …

Good morning everyone, I am a lucky owner of a 7week old Siberian husky, me and my young family are so happy, I already have a 11 year old jack Russel that is a little grumpy but he will learn I'm sure of it. We currently have three Siberians in our family to introduce: All three snow babies have had EMBARK DNA + Health + Traits and all passed all of the health testing (thank goodness for that). Huskies! My name is Kristen! I'm 25 married and a mother of 2 amazing humans ages 7 and 3 years old. I have 2 Siberian huskies that I have had since they were 12 weeks old. I have a diluted black and white female and a red and white male. We live in south Texas. They breed by accident in February and now we are expecting babies! I'm here seeking knowledge and tips from other husky owners/lovers like myself. I've had 3 other huskies in my life before my 2 current babies. I'm no stranger to the singing, silly, sneaky behavior of the husky breed. Attached are pics of my babies. Shasta is my female black and white and Thor is my male red and white.

Hi quick intro, heard about this site through a group on FB. We are a 1st time Husky owners, when we first got Dolcey she was 5mths old and we were her 3rd set of parents/family, We have now had 1yr of very crazy, manic, fun, hyper, loving ups and downs (ups way out numbering the downs) . Joined the group for likewise people and pets. Dolcey also has a big/ little sister Kaylai who is 5yrs old.

So, not logged in for 7 years! (And now forgotten my old log in info so thought I'd start anew) After trying to find some pictures of Qilaq as a puppy to show my girlfriend, I somehow found my way to one of my old posts on here. Just back from cuddles with 'Gizmo' at the rescue centre before he comes home .... He's going to be our first Husky ....any suggestions/tips from others who have adopted/rehomed from rescue centres on how to settle him and get through first few days. Hi, This is the story about my 6years old malamute/husky that we adopted since 3 weeks ago.. @alaskanmalamut_kyto for updates Everyone who has followed our story the last few days knows that Kyto has been abused 3 times by several owners (heavily abused) and neglected, he also lived outside, in all weather, in a very small bench in which he spent more than 8 hours a day locked up! Hello, everyone. Let me start by saying that we don't have a husky just yet. We lost our baby boxer boy Jax that we had for 9 years on June 28th of this year. He lost the fight with Lymphomia after 3 months. We lost our first boxer Max back in May of 2010. After losing 2 boxers within 10 years due to Lymphomia we are not wanting to get another boxer. We have 2 other dogs, a 9 year old female beagle/daschund mix, and a 4 year old male daschund. We are not ready to get another dog yet, but we have put down a deposit to get put on a waiting list for a Siberian Husky. We were told that we would not be able to get one until around Christmas time, or the beginning of next yea…

Hes Echo, I'm Tara, and my boyfriend Alan..Hes a 2 yr old Husky we just got 3 weeks ago..Live in Western Ky. Looking for advice, stories and recommendations. Echo was a friend of friends she bought him for her grandson 2 yrs ago as a puppy. A yr ago he got into some bad stuff the grandson not the dog.. Long story short grandson got dumped, got into drugs, got kicked out. Shes older and put him outside and then a yr later decided to rehome...
