Hi there, my beautiful Luka is just over 3 years old now. I’m not sure what he is mixed with if he is (haven’t gotten a DNA test) and was wondering if any others out there have a similar looking pup! He has one brown eye and one blue eye

Hi my name is Kirsty. I rescued my Siberian Husky Leila from Manchester dogs home four years ago, and I can honestly say she is the most loyal and loving dog I have ever had. I have been debating whether or not to get another as I have been told they prefer to be in a pack? I have joined the forum to get advice and to meet like minded people who love their huskies as much as I love mine!

hi there, I’d like to know if it is possible to ‘hire’ a husky for a few hours on the 30th October. It is my daughters 12th birthday and she’s asked me if it would be possible for a few hours. We have a Bassett Hound at the moment but my daughter is husky mad and just a few hours would make her very happy. I live in Essex (Woodford), obviously quite willing to pay so please get in touch if you can help at all. Many thanks adam.wolfryd@hotmail.com

Hi, I am new here and sought a group for a topic I already posted about. But I will take a moment now and introduce my guys now :) First I have Nalla who is 4 years old. She is 74% husky 18% great Pyrenees and just a smidgen American bull dog! (Someone jumped the fence down the line!) I got her when she was 9 months old, her dad suddenly passed away. Next comes my none husky but an equally good boy. He is 2 years old and was adopted as a lab mix. DNA test says... German Shepard/lab/pit/chow chow/Doberman/ great Pyrenees.. and a bit of a few other things lol. My late fiance named Beebo. Lastly I have my new little boy, at the end of the …

Hey Everyone, We have been raising, and then later breeding huskies for over 20 years. We bought our first husky, Sauncere or "Sauncy" in 2002 and she was our world, and we hers. I had always wanted a husky after being stationed in Anchorage, Alaska at Ft Richardson in 1991 and having a chance to watch my first Iditarod race in person. I swore that day that sometime in the future, I would own a husky. Well, we have owned, rescued, raised, and bred many Siberian Huskies since then. We currently have 6 at home. Shona, Crystal, Sheera, Niko, and Spirit. And then we have our Great Pyrenees who protects our farm animals, and the huskies. At least she thinks she is.…

Hi all, I'm melanie I have a 14 month rescue husky shepherd cross ... she is definitely more husky with bright blue eyes, she has a high prey drive and will bolt after anything that moves. We attend training every week and she's beautifully natured in the house but outside she becomes crazy, gets over excited and doesn't listen She therefore can't come off the lead but really needs to run. Any suggestions on how to calm her down and listen to me when we are out. She is very strong and has pulled me over twice so I often walk her with 2 leads, she pulls on the lead which we are working in at training but she's no pleasure to walk at present she's is on high alert all the …

So I thought I would jump on here as it's been well over a year. So all this time later, and the sassy attitude carried on... you tell her no and she back chats every time LOL. I love her to bits. She has such an energetic personality, very loving. She has learnt lots of commands such as sit, down, stay, wait, play dead, speak and to not touch her food until the command word has been said. I also got a dog behaviourist to come out when she was roughly 6 months old to help with some of the training (walking, reactivity etc). My biggest struggle with her currently is still our daily walks. She is super friendly and inquisitive that whenever she sees another dog, or they sta…

My name is Sitti. I’m new here. Also, a new owner of a 3month old husky named Pocholo. He is my first pet. I don’t know much about dogs, I did and still do a bit of research though and what ive been reading is making me terrified for years to come because people have been saying that huskies are quite much. I’ve got a few questions, 1. Is it normal that they are erect at this age? Ive noticed that whenever he is erect, he goes absolutely ballistic. Biting things around the house, jumping up and down. Absolutely driving the family crazy. Any tips that can help? 2. When is the best time to get him trained? 3. How many times in a day should he exercise and ho…

Hey people, new guy over here but not new to Huskies, I've had a cross breed Husky with Akita and now I have a Staffy Cross Husky (with blue eyes and staffy colour) I was just asking, is there anyway I can get a blood line DNA Test on him? I wanna know what blood lines he has (not for breeding purposes, he's been doctored, first thing I did when I had him) I wanted to know because he's a little gremlin and fast as anything....... Here's a pic of my little Gremlin, his name is Roscoe. Another photo of him for a better look

Well Hello, We are new to the page. Ive never joined a forum before so this is really new to me. Anywho, let me introduce ourselves to y'all. My name is Meghean and my beautiful Sib is Sofi. We aren't your typical duo. We love to travel the world together and live full time as Nomads. Little info about each of us: Im a freelance photographer and Marine Veteran. Sofi is a 3yr old Silver/Gray Sib. I took over legal custody of her when she was 6 months, from some very evil ppl who wanted to euthanize her for defending herself. And in turn she saved me from my own demons. So in my eyes we are Soulmates. Sorry got a bit deep there, but only so y'all could…

Hi I’m wondering if my girl is purebred. I’ve seen both parents and they definitely were huskies. It’s weird to my that one of her ears tend to flop to the side sometimes and sometimes both are very close together. What do you think? She’s 4,5 months old now btw the first picture is the most recent from few days ago.

Hi so this is our boy Toby he has just turned 9 months old and is just over 40kg. He is a fun loving character with lots of personality. When we first got him we was told he was husky German Shepard mix but after about 5 months we started to question this due to his size. We know mum is husky shepherd mix and owners of dad claim he full husky but we have never seen dad. We believe now that Toby may be part malamute due to way he looks and size but can not be sure. Out of the his 4 other siblings he is the only that is of his size and has what we think could be malamute features. it has been a great experience been a first time owner of this kind of breed watching him and …

Good Evening, I am new to the forum and new to Husky's as well, I have raised Rottweilers most of my life. I searched for the forum this evening, because I am needing advice/help. My wife and I bought me our boy, Bowie the day he became 8 weeks old to have a companion in assisting me in recovering from a brain injury. Having a colleague who owns Husky's to get information from and doing my own research prior we found this beautiful pup for sale on an Amish farm. Fast forward to now, he is 4 months old and is almost to the point of my wife wanting me to find him a new home which I refuse to do. He will not go to the bathroom outside no matter how long we are …

Hi I’m Julia and this is my 4 months old husky Arya. I don’t know if she’s purebred husky or maybe a husky mix because I got her from my boyfriend. Althought I’ve seen both of her parents and they looked like a purebreds. She’s very energetic and we love her so so much.

I have 2 huskies that are 8 months old from the same litter. 1 ( Bear) has been losing hair since she was about 3 months old, the vets and everyone I have talked to haven't been able to tell what is causing it. Also everything the vet has tried and told me to do has not helped if anyone knows please let me know. Next the other husky (Rosy) in the last 2 days has started attacking the other one(Bear) she has also started attacking our jack russell (Tillie) as well. Please help I don't know what to do I love both of them and at a loss of what I need to do.

Hi all. I'm Jon, I just adopted a 9 month old Husky just over a week and half ago. She is a beautiful girl, and full of energy...sometimes. I have an issue in that today she developed diarrhoea, and is not really eating her dry food.working dog from pets at home. We have been giving her a third of a tin of pedigree chum mixed in to make her new food more tasty, but she only eats the tinned food, and leave her dry biscuits. If anyone can help I'd love to hear from you. She is going to become my assistance dog, so she is very important to me and the family. We love her loads and She gives great cuddles, so I'm sad when she …

Hello everybody! I'm Cristine, you can call me Cris, I'm a relatively new husky owner. We've owned dogs before but not really high maintenance dogs so I was quite at a loss for awhile. We weren't really planning on having a husky but my cousin gave him to us and I honestly wasn't ready but we've had him for a month now and he's doing well. His name is Boris, I don't know what his exact color is because I don't know if he's called red or brown??? I'll attach some pictures below so if anyone can tell me what color he is, I'd be grateful. I love him very much, he's very adorable and stubborn too, lol. We have another puppy, he's a mixed breed and he's very obedient and quick…

Hello my puppy's name is Yuki. We got her from a rescue and she is currently around 11 weeks old. We think she is a blonde husky and she has 1 blue eye and 1 hazel eye. When she's tired and sleepy she will lay her head on your feet and fall asleep. However when she's awake she is a little demon she will try to bite your feet off and will chew on everything except her toys. She also will bark at you whenever you are gonna give food.

My Lola Blue is a 2 yr old agouti husky. We rescued her about 3 months ago and she is one of our babies. Remi is 6 months and we adopted him 2 months ago. He is a fire red/white color. Both of my babies have beautiful blue eyes. They are completely opposite of each other. Lola is layed back and a big lap dog. Remi is playful. He gets her to play with him and and it's adorable because they start talking to each other.
