Ohioguy Posted May 11, 2023 Report Share Posted May 11, 2023 Hello. I just joined this site recently and wanted to say hi. Huskies are the most wonderful dogs. I just adopted my second one after having my first put down due to illness. My introduction to the breed was through a friend who had 6 at the time. I started by adopting a husky/German Shepherd mix who was found as a stray. A year or so later I adopted a full husky from champion bloodlines and I couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, he developed cancer in his nasal passages after I had him for about 4 years and had to be euthanized. A friend of mine, who used to breed huskies, had a dog who needed a home. He had been mistreated in his youth, but within a few weeks had totally come around. Now, he's my new buddy and he loves my Shepsky girl. They quickly became best friends.
