I mentioned in the Sutton Park meet thread that our pup isn't a pure Sibe, Huskamute or Alusky is probably the best description although overgrown fool is far more accurate! Whatever you want to call him, we love him to bits all the same, even though he does weigh as much as a teenager (91lb at the last count following a diet from 106lb) and insists on being a lapdog! Because of his gentle cuddly nature and an innate tendancy to get himself covered in muck we tend to refer to him as Pooh, after Winnie the Pooh:doglick: The other half of our doggy duo is Thunder, a GSD bitch and retired pub gua…

Someone at work showed me this today, a friends of hers gave her a book 'Boo, the cutest dog in the world' and I have to agree he is incredibly cute! (although not the cutest dog in the world - that's my baby Nel ) He doesn't even look real, looks like a little teddy bear! He even has his own faceyb - http://www.facebook.com/Boo I do wonder how they made him look like that though... ?

My staffy Simba don't seem well :'( so given her a solpadeine (paracetamol with caffeine) tablet I hope it helps her feel better, don't like my babies being ill when they can't tell me what's wrong :'( She's 12 nearly 13 so an old lady bless her. She's been panting so I think she's in pain as she does have bad joints :'( since the tablet she seems to have settled a bit ♥εїÃ· H εїÃ·â™¥

This is my 5 year old Corn Snake, Chess. He's a bit of a cantankerous fellow for a Corn, but he's been my loving companion since he was a hatchling past his first few feeds. He's got a tiny little pin head compared to his body, but that doesn't stop him demolishing his dinner and being a porker always looking for more. The wee grubber! When he was much younger About a year ago

Coyotes as pets 1 2 3

So, as most of you know my thread over here is dead, and I'm been flooding it with relevant pictures of it, and I stumbled on this: It got me thinking... Coyote ownership? I know you can keep a wolf but people seem to hate coyotes, call them ugly etc... So I found this page: http://www.coyotefacts.net/pet_coyote/pet_coyote.html Sure enough, there are owners... I'm not sure why I didn't look at it before but there are. I personally think the coyote has wrongfuly earned a bad rap, much like the wolf is considered majestic and beautiful now - That's only after it was hunted and killed out of most states... I …

Here is a picture of our full pack of 2x Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and 2x Siberian Huskies... We have (left to right) Nakoda (9 mths), Poppy (6 yrs), Anoushka (9 mths) and Freyja (8 yrs). The story behind this picture is amusing, as we don't allow the dogs upstairs, but Nush had worked out how to open the baby gate on the stairs, and Freyja, had led everyone to the bed to get cosy!.... You maybe surprised to hear this but i can honestly say after having our Huskies for 9 months that they are much, much easier to live with than the Spaniels!!!!!..... Well so far. Poppy and Freyja, you see are HIGH MAI…

I recently adopted a 7 month old boy Zorro. Had him about a week. At home I have a 3yr old shepherd mix(Gigabyte) that is very well trained and hasn't gone potty in house in almost 2 yrs(with exception of peeing because he's mad at us. Sounds crazy but I swear he does). Tonight at bedtime(husband's bedtime, I'm a night owl) the boys got on the bed and everything was fine. We walked out of bedroom and Gigabyte just stopped and peed in floor. I heard the sound and looked and when he saw me looking he stopped and went to the door to backyard(where he is supposed to go potty). Could he be doing it because of the new puppy? They get along really well, playing all the time and …

Some people will already know this having followed my threads in the past, but I am now a registered NMC (National Mouse Club) breeder of show quality mice in the agouti and cinnamon varieties I've had them for a while now; I bought a trio consisting of one cinnamon buck and two agouti does from one of the most respected breeders in the fancy and within the last week or so the two does have both dropped litters (after a mere 3 week pregnancy ). These are the original three: The cinnamon buck The two agouti does (the one on the right is particularly big and stunning!) The doe on the right had her litter first, they are no…

As many of you know me and the OH had been going through a rough time over the past few months and finally split a few weeks ago with him keeping Mille. I spent lots of time looking after my moms collie pup as she was finding her a lot to handle and since breaking up with my ex my mom has now given her to me as I have plenty of time to look after her and have loved her since the moment my mom bought her home. Soooo I now have a dog again

My mother has 4 Collie dogs at the moment, they are all working farm dogs but are also pets at the end of the day, they are used to round up the horses and they are excellent watch dogs, if somebody is coming onto the farm who dosn't usually visit, the Alpha (Bruno) will run down the lane to the yard and bark like crazy to alert my mum. They are lovely and all have their own personalities. Here they are This is Bruno (Irn Bru) the red merle at almost 14 weeks old and his favourite toy (the feather duster) And here is Jessica at around that same age, she hasn't changed much since then. She just has longer legs. Her…

My baby boy Sohma (cat) just came out of hiding, and one of his ears has a lot of ear wax in it. I googled home remedies, but unfortunately we don't have anything they mentioned. What we do have is olive oil, vegetable oil or corn syrup. Anyone have any idea if any of those would help? he looks miserable.

My cousin's two shih tzus have been stolen from his garden and were last seen in the South Shore area of Blackpool (Royal Oak if that helps anyone that knows the area). One of them has been found but the other one, a black and white bitch called Vegas, is still missing. She was last seen at around 5pm on 14th August 2011. I know I can't post up mobile numbers so if anyone has any news I know a few of you already have mine, feel free to pass that around and just text/call that.
