It was great to see Jeff back on the stage here in the UK and it would appear that he was very well received in Hyde Park last night! All credit to Radio2 for putting the event together as they had a great set of bands throughout the day but Jeff stole the show methinks. I wonder if this will initiate a one off ELO tour? There are a number of excellent ELO tribute bands, ('Out of the Blue' and 'The Orchestra' being two that I have seen), and they are all very good.

After two false starts I now believe that I have managed to acquire a ticket for the 'Three Lancasters' event that will take place at the Aviation Heritage Centre, (here in Lincolnshire), on Sunday. This is a very rare event, (probably a once in a lifetime experience), to see three Lancasters together at one location when the Canadian Lancaster will join the Memorial Flight Lancaster for a fly past over East Kirby airfield, (home of the Aviation Heritage Museum), whilst the 'grounded' East Kirby' Lancaster is taxiing along the runway. A group of us ran over to the airfield, (two weeks ago), in an attempt to witness a similar event but the two airworthy Lancasters …

My wife wanted to watch this movie because she just finished reading the book series. I have to say that it wasn't all that bad and it was definitely better than the Twilight movies she makes me watch. I would give it a 3 out of 5.....

So I don't know how this happened, but my local cinema is already showing HTTYD 2 I've just got back from watching it, apparently 9 days before its premier release in the UK Now I don't want to give off spoilers, but it is AWESOME. I mean, it's not flawless... there are some parts of the movie that drift away from the main storyline. But really in one way or another each part adds greatness to the story as a whole. Toothless is still his adorable, goofy, happy-go-lucky self. Though Hiccup remains the main character, the spotlight was on Toothless this time. The movie was hilarious, heart-warming and tear-jerking at the same time. I'm not the kind that usually cr…

I just finished watching the original documentary of Grey Gardens and the HBO movie made of the same name that shows the lives of Edith and Edie Beale. It was incredibly interesting to me to see what crazy characters they were and how their lives unfolded in such a very raw and tragic way. Has anyone else seen these? What did you think?

Anyone watching it? I like the apocalypse type when there's been a decent amount of though given to the premise and then how it's carried through. In two episodes, so far, I like what I'm seeing.

The night before my trip to Jakarta I watched Non-Stop with my brother then on our first day there we watched Maleficent. Then the day before we go back home, we lined up with an army of ten-year-old kids (and their distressed parents) to purchase tickets for Transformers: Age of Extinction; otherwise known as simply Transformers 4. I am feeling particularly bored, so I'm gonna review each one of them just because Film #1: Non-Stop. Liv's rating: 6.8/10 While Non-Stop starts on the right foot with a well-thought plot, I do think it adds a lot of unnecessary (or it matters so little it became unnecessary) details into the storyline. What's the good of introducing th…
