Since there are lots of Brits on this forum. At risk of losing the esteem of the community, I love TOWIE (The Only Way Is Essex). It's addictive. The accents, the stupidity (oh my are they stupid). It's HILARIOUS. Of course, being Canadian, it's not on TV over here...we heard about it and downloaded it, and that's how we watch it. Are there any other TOWIE-like British shows I could be wasting my brain cells on?

Went to see the show last night. It was just as funny and even funnier in parts than the TV series. There were lots of moments when Brendan O'Carrol (Mrs. Brown) would ad lib something and the rest of the cast would fall about laughing or have to recover and quip something back. The was lots of "corpsing" (cast laughing so much that they couldn't speak their lines) which made they audience roar with laughter. It was a fantastic show Well worth going to if you can.

I enjoy English literature, but English books in Indonesia is crazily expensive. Luckily I'll be off to the US in Sunday and all I'm thinking is books books books I'm sure they'd be cheaper over there because there're no import taxes and all that? A classic 1960 English novel in Indonesia costs double the average price of the latest local novel of same page amount!! But that's definitely a money well spent. I'm so in love with To Kill A Mockingbird Now on to the question. Any novel recommendations? Like many teens I enjoy the work of romance authors such as Sophie Kinsella, but I also enjoy "heavier" classic literatures such as To Kill A Mockingbird and A Walk To…

I've just found this on Netflix and it's about a strange town where murders have started happening. Everyone seems rather odd. We have... A pregnant teenager, dad is an angel, another teen that can make people do things just by commanding them His sister glows blue when her skin is touched o.O ... But there is also "werewolf" in it, got to say they use the most beautiful dog/wolf black with bright yellow eyes. So worth watching just for that I wouldn't say it was suitable for younger members though...

So who watched the first episode of the new season? It is still THE best show on TV at the moment. Can't wait to see what happens. What will happen to Jon Snow? When will Danerys ever reach the Iron Throne? When will the dragons grow to be full size? So many questions!

A new series called the Walking Dead premiered in the US on Halloween and is going to hit British screens tonight on FX. It is based on the comic book series of the same name. The following is the plot off Wikipedia The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse and follows a small group of survivors traveling across the United States in search of a new home away from the hordes of zombies. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a police officer in the old world. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group's desperation to survive pushes them to do almost anything to stay alive. Now I…

'24' returning to Fox for 12 episodes, network announces Jack Bauer is coming back. Fox executives said Monday that its drama "24" is returning next May for a limited run that will stretch into the summer. The adventure series with Kiefer Sutherland starring as Jack Bauer ended its original run in 2010. Fox programming chief Kevin Reilly said creators had been thinking about doing a movie with the original cast. But when Fox announced it was interested in doing a big event miniseries, they realized it was the perfect format. “They always had this idea of maybe someday doing a feature film,â€ he said. “I think they all agreed 24 being compressed into two hours is…
