Martian Posted September 15, 2014 Report Share Posted September 15, 2014 It was great to see Jeff back on the stage here in the UK and it would appear that he was very well received in Hyde Park last night! All credit to Radio2 for putting the event together as they had a great set of bands throughout the day but Jeff stole the show methinks. I wonder if this will initiate a one off ELO tour? There are a number of excellent ELO tribute bands, ('Out of the Blue' and 'The Orchestra' being two that I have seen), and they are all very good. The tribute bands always play faithful renditions. But. . . . The original bands after 40+ years tend to faff around with the arrangement Sometimes ruining it completely.
