Marc
Hi everyone, Have been asked to post up a message from Lee, husky-gunner as to why he is not around and is not likely to be around for a good while. For people who don't know, Lee works as a security guard for a supermarket. Obviously this job has its risks whilst dealing with idiots etc, however Lee has unfortunately hit one of those risks full on. So that people know everything I have been asked if I can post everything on here so he's not getting asked too many questions as people are texting him etc and he is in a lot of pain and struggling to do things at the moment. Over the weekend there was an idiot in the supermarket messing about on one of the aisle. Lee, as is his job asked the person to leave the premises and was escorting this person out of the building. Unfortunately he wasn't aware that the person he was escorting out was not alone. The guy who was with him jumped on Lee from behind and he came crashing to the floor. When falling he has hit his arm with enough force for his right arm to be broken very close to the elbow and the bone was forced through his skin. This meant he lost a lot of blood and was rushed to hospital. After 6 hours of surgery and several pieces of metal (plates, pins etc) to repair Lee's arm and a few days in hospital he is now back at home, however is unable to use one of his arms at all and moving about with the other is obviously causing pain as well due to the amount he has had done in surgery etc. Although its early days, he has been told already that its unlikely that he will regain full use of his arm. This is because of where the bone broke which was basically very close to his elbow joint. So, obviously Lee will not be posting for a good while until he at least gets used to doing things with one arm and has had some serious amount of time to recover. Its kinda unknown at the moment how long that will be, whether he will need more surgery, how it will heal, what else he will need to do with regards to physio etc etc.

Wishing him all the best in his recovery and hoping the (insert appropriate swear word here) who did this, are punished accordingly for what they have done. Nobody should have to go through something like this when they are just trying to do their job.
