Welcome to the Husky Owners home page
This page will be updated periodically to ensure you are up to date with all the goings on in the Husky Owners world.
Second Husky Meet Up Arranged
The Second Husky Owners meet up has now been arranged to take place on 14th June 2009 at the Newbold Comyn Arms in Leamington Spa.

Members with older dogs are meeting at 11am and those with younger pups are meeting at 1pm.
The reason for this???
We are taking part in a charity walk for local girl Ruby who sadly passed away in April this year. Ruby's Ramble has been set up to raise money for various charities including children's caner charities and animal charities. The older dogs will be taking part in a 5 mile sponsored walk while the pups will be taking part in a mini sponsored walk. Leaving at different times means that we should all return roughly at the same time and be able to have a drink together and enjoy the rest of the day.
I am also trying to sort out insurance so that we can "Hug a Husky" and give people a picture of their "Hugs" to take home with them. If we can get insurance to cover us then i'm sure this will prove to be a fantastic way of raising funds.
All the money raised by the members of Husky Owners will be split 50 / 50 with half the money going to Ruby's parents chosen charity and the other half to the Siberian Husky Welfare Association (UK) This promises to be a great day and I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible

Gallery
The new gallery has now gone "live" after much hard work from Marc, the gallery has been fully integrated to work with the site to make it easier for everyone to upload and view pictures.
You can upload up to 20 pictures at a time making a mass upload now much easier and smoother.....remember, picture sizes are capped at 1024 x 768 so be sure to resize your pictures if necessary. For an automatic image resize program, download this program http://www.vso-software.fr/products/...er.php?lang=en
