Looking for information about my Husky

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone, im a new member here. We just got our first Husky. She has a wild personality and is a very good pup so far. Any tips or advice i can receive from all of you expert husky owners is greatly appreciated.  Also im looking for a little information about her coat. We were out walking her the other day and someone had walked over and told us that she is among some of the rarest color coats along with having both blue eyes. I myself had or have no idea. We knew she was pretty but i have no knowledge of husky coat colors. Just looking for any information i can get . Thanks. This is Nova she has just turned 5 months old.

Hey there,

Welcome to this forum. Nova looks absolutely stunning, and it's fantastic to hear that she's already showing such a lively and good-natured personality at such a young age. I can provide some few tips that might help you navigate life with your new furry friend:

Start basic obedience training early to establish good behaviors and boundaries. Positive reinforcement techniques work well with Huskies, as they respond well to praise and rewards.

Huskies have a double coat that sheds heavily, especially during shedding season. Regular brushing and grooming can help manage shedding and keep Nova's coat healthy.

Introduce Nova to different people, animals, and environments from a young age to help her become well-adjusted and friendly.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about Nova's care or behavior, feel free to ask.Best wishes to you and Nova on your journey together!

She is a beauty! Keep her needs met by getting lots of exercise and keeping her well socialized.  I have two 5yr old male huskies or are always loving to people and other dogs.  I’ve dedicated the last year to lots of training off leash and finding places where they can run free abd burn that energy.  Ive never kenneled them and they’ve never been destructive.  Before we go anywhere, we tire them out by taking them to a dog park or a local place to run free.  Or tire them out in the yard before you leave.  Most huskies are only bad because they are bored
