Hello all. I haven’t been very active on here as life as gotten in the way. But I joined here in February 2012 when I got my very first husky Nikko. Since then I adopted two other huskies that have since passed - Yukon and Kodiak. And have adopted a new puppy Denali last year who recently turned a year old. Having a 13 year old and a 1 year old is challenging. The pup wants to play hard and Nikko wants to play but has to be careful not to hurt himself. This place has been great to answer all my questions back in 2012 and I’m proud to be a moderator. Thanks to Marc and Sarah for starting this forum. Hi ☺️ so here’s a video of my lovely girl Arya and as you can see her ears are up and at the end one ear flops to the side. I’m a bit worried why it’s happening. She’s 20 weeks and theething. Any ideas on why her ear is floppy like that? Is there a chance she’ll have errect ears? IMG_3002.MOV

Realised I haven't checked in here for a while, when I last posted our little Magic shark was only 9 weeks old , he's now 4 ½ months and an absolute beast lol , he's gotten so big over the past few weeks and whilst he still likes to chew on me he's great with Theodore and they're now great friends which I'm happy about as magic was a bit ott to start with but what can you expect from a puppy and a toddler lol Anyway here's some pics Training him to wash the dishes 😆

Hi Arya is 22 weeks old today! She’s still having a problem with her ears. There was a week when her ears were like last pictures and now her right ear flopped again weirdly. She’s behaving much better although 😂

My husky mix is a deaf alert guide dog! I just wanted to show off how she looks in her guide harness. We don't generally use the saddlebags and I've switched to a prong (the collar shown held a GPS tag that was abysmal at its job), but we love this lightweight guide harness and handle on Etsy. It fits her perfectly, allows a lot of free movement, can be seen easily at all hours, and it is literally lighter than a half-full can of soda. It's so amazing for us. I wanted something that was visible but not... outrageously expensive. I also was avoiding fleece (stinky and hot) and leather (not my thing). This works for us. Meet the latest member of our pack, Lumi is a rescued husky (cost us 50p) and is a blue-eyed, white husky with a black patch over one eye. Of unknown age and imported from Lapland, he appears to be settling in to his new home very well!

Well, of course, I was lovingly gazing at Mr. Blaze, as I do a million and one times a day, and I've always thought his blaze (one of the reasons I named him Blaze) down his stop was quite beautiful, but today, the beauty of it really captured my attention, so I was curious if anyone else has a dog with unique facial markings like this?
