Hi there I dont know whether im thinking my babies don't stop eating because i am used to feeding jack russels.! But i was wondering a rough guide on what anyone else does. Skyla is 18 weeks, Franny is 9 weeks. They have raw mince and veg with rice and some biscuits for brekkie, lunch biscuits sometimes with a raw egg, dinner cooked fish, chicken veg biscuits. All treats they have are natural, sprats, rabbit ears, goose things lol. They always seem hungry but are fed better than me! Lol are huskies greedy? My skla is a big girl for her age, but not weight wise. Yes, both are wormed lol Thanks x Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

I've tried to do as much research on this as I could muster, I've spoken with my vet and other husky owners - but I keep getting mixed ideas, I thought I'd ask you guys. Maybe you have some experience with it. Lately koda will quite often either throw up or have bouts of diarrhea if he eats anything that isn't his dog food or whenever I give him bones or treats he gets sick..as of recently I've bought him some cod skin and he really likes it and doesn't have any bad reactions to it. I have been thinking about getting wanted to know if any of you had any experience with them and if any of you have any suggestions on what brand to buy?? Sent from my SM-N910T …

Hello, I was playing with Barnaby yesterday and noticed a small white lump with black spot on his back. I had a wee look then continued playing with him to avoid alarming him with any panic. I checked it again today, it was still the same & he let me look at it in depth. After looking closer I saw it was more of a brownish colour and wasn't a tick/bite. He twitched once or twice but didn't make any moans or groans as if it were hurting him. After noticing this, I checked him over head to toe for any other lumps/spots and with him being jet black it wasn't easy! I then discovered these 2 browny black like moles around his genitalia and tummy area. I have no idea if t…

My 4 month old Franny i got her when she was six weeks(the breeder apparently miscalculated her age, i only realised when her behaviour seemed off compared to my other then 14 week husky puppy) anyway i now think she was never wormed even being told she was, because she is up to date with me, her advocate and additional tablet, so she went to loo last week i saw a dead worm in there.! Took her to vet he said its dead because she is wormed regularly, but to take her back after a week and got given a binder. She still has diarrhoea even after binder and chicken and rice diet, and every so often i see these dead worms in excrement. Anyone have any tips on how to stop this di…

I have a 7 month old male husky and he's doing fine. I am thinking of getting another husky but one that needs rehoming, maybe an older one. Is it advisable to keep 2 male Huskies in the same house? Any issues? My house is medium size with a good size back garden. Any advice appreciated. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Husky Owners mobile app

Hi, I'm getting really worried i have a female husky who is 13 months old and will hardly eat? I think it's down to me spoiling her and giving her to much choice! I have tried the she will eat when she's hungry for 3 days and she literally ate no more than a handful. She loves her veg like carrots and sweet peppers Brussel sprouts etc! But again keeps only when she feels like eating them. (I had a male husky for 10 years and had no problems with him) she's on barking heads biscuits but again will only eat a little. She isn't ill as she will happily eat a dog chews/bones. I think I'm giving her to much choice and she's become spoilt. I try her with chicken, boiled mince,la…

Mr Bear, my 4 month of Sib has been having diahrrea for about a week now, and I can't figure out why. When he was first adopted we were told he had worms before and was treated but to keep an eye out, and I have found anything to suggest he had worms. We also switched his food but it was done gradually and his potty problems started after he was already adjusted to the food. He is not acting sick and and otherwise seems fine. I can't think of what could be causing this or what I can do for him. Any advice would be really appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Koda has had this tiny dew claw since we got him, only on one back leg and it seemed really loose. Today he decided he didn't want it anymore and decided to rip it off [emoji85] blood everywhere while he's casually eating the claw! I managed to stop the bleeding with tissue but not before Astro tried to wash it, then had to battle with them both as they were trying to eat the tissue! Hello everyone. Back in January we added Bella to our family. She is a wonderful 5 month old Siberian husky. We did notice one thing and was wandering if anyone had any experience with a similar situation. From day one she had hair missing on both of her back paws. We have had multiple vets look at it and they were not able to provide a solution. We have tried from pills to creams and we had skin scrapings done.it's not getting better or worse. Has anyone seen anything like this? We are running out of ideas of what it can be and how to get her hair to grow in. I hope that the pictures are clear enough. Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I have a 3 1/2 month old husky boy named Mason. He has so far been a happy, east to train pup, just starting to show his stubbornness now. However he's always been itchy since I got him. No fleas, I switched his food from a grain free chicken to a grain free salmon and started him on a salmon oil. We recently used a shampoo and new treat with chicken which I think irritated his skin and thus over the weekend developed very itchy Hives. I am using benedryal per the vet but does any one else experience husky allergies and what diet have you found the most helpful? Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

I've been noticing my Husky beg to be fed more often. I was curious if anyone suggests I feed him more than a cup twice a day. He's currently 6 months, I switched from feeding a half cup 3 times per day to 1 cup twice a day about a month and a half ago. He made the transition pretty well but recently he's been going back into his cage (that is where I feed him) and will just sit there, hoping I'll give him a treat or more food. I normally feed him a cup at 7am (That's when he wakes up and begins the begging), we go to the dog park every morning for two hours or so after that and then he'll sleep until around 2 or 3. When he wakes up the begging st…

He isn't showing any signs of bloody poo, has been eating as normal & no unusual behaviour displayed etc. He is feeling very sorry for himself today We have recently changed his food brand a few weeks ago but has been fine until now? Hello again all! Kiana's recent vet visits have opened up some serious health concerns one of them being Laryngeal Paralysis. I am very worried about it as her symptoms seem to be on par with it. Does anyone at all have any experience or advice for this? In a few months when I build the cash back up I am going to get her tested but it requires anethesia and that scares me since she already has breathing problems. Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated. I have done some research on it but all the info is intimidating :/

I received a message from a friend on FB, saying that there have been a lot of complaints recently about Taste of the Wild here in the US. Some people who have been feeding their dogs for years have gotten very sick, and creating liver problems. I googled it and found a lot of comments on consumer affairs https://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/taste-of-the-wild.html Has anyone heard of this issue? All 3 of mine eat it and now I am concerned. I want to see if others have heard this before just changing their food.

I'm a completely new husky owner. I've just gotten a husky pup 4 days ago, I named him Hurricane, he's only 9 weeks old. He's had his first vaccination before I got him and the next one is after June 15. I was given a bag of dry food along and was told Hurricane had already started eating dry food and I gave him dry food along with some cooked carrots and chicken breast. I tried giving him some new dry food that I bought bit by bit. He was doing fine for 3 days with the food I gave him. But today when I got home his poop was runny, not water and poop twice again within 3 hours same runny poop. His peep is quite yellow in colour too!! What am I doing wrong? Or is Hurricane…
