So I want to try to convince my family to switch to a raw food diet. I am just trying to figure out what I need to get to start. I figured I need to start with chicken to ease the tummy into it but when I look at the different cuts and ordering from the butcher it is confusing to me. They sell in bulk and it seems like sooo much when I add up the meat, organs and bone. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

Hello My puppy is having a problem i think! 3 days ago my puppy Snow had diarrhea and the doctor suggested i gave him some chicken and rice and that actually worked. The diarrhea stopped immediately and he was fine. However, last night he start throwing up the food he eat! I took the food and water away from him so his stomach could rest. After 8 hours i gave him some water and he held it no problem at all so I tried to give him some dry food but he won't eat it. I gave him some boiled chicken and white rice and he ate ( i gave him just a little bit to see if he can hold it ) unfortunately he threw up all what he ate! Although he looks healthy and never stops playing.…

My puppy 5 months old already, she hasn't been pooping right, her feces are light brown and creamy, and sometimes hard but now I am worry cause I stop the treats and just feed her Wellness Core dry and a teaspoon of wet food, and her stool still loose, my vet keeps saying to put her on Royal Canin which I am not crazy about it. I stared the process of changing her for Taste of a Wild but obviously slower than usual, What experience have anyone had that can help me? Any recommendations ?

Hi, Its my first time posting here. So my 10 month old sibe Victoria recently has gotten picky with her food, mainly her dry food. I switched up the brand of food and it seemed to do the trick. But half way through the new brand she started up again. Mixed in a variety of things like chicken and those "food rolls" by Blue buffalo. But even when I mix those in she's hesitant. Anyone else have this problem? She never really use to be like this so I was just curious if it's a typical behavior.

Good afternoon everyone, my 10year old Siberian huskies has started peeing and pooping when he's a sleep, during the day he's seems fine and manages to go outside but not without the occasional accident. Have any of you had this little matter as I would like a little guidance as I've not had to deal with this before. I hate the idea that this is happening but I know the way this is going!! Hi all. My moms 4 yr old husky/Eskimo recently started breaking out in bruises and clumps of scabs from biting and pulling her hair out. Three different vets and a dermatologist have no idea. Any suggestions or experience with something similar? Blood tests have been done and biopsies all came back Clear. Still waiting on the culture. I've included some pics. She's on baytril 68mg, terbinafine 250mg and medrol 4mg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At long last we have figured out Lucy's seasons. She is just at the end of one now. I know it is best to leave it as long as possible afterwards before having her 'done', but............. What can I expect in terms of recovery time? Obviously short walks to start with and build back up. Typically we walk 4 miles in the evenings. We are at Husky Camp in May and I don't want her to miss out on off lead day etc. I was thinking just before Easter so we can be home with her all day for as long as possible afterwards and that gives a full month before Camp. Also any suggestions on alternatives to the 'cone of shame'? Not sure how that would work for her when crated. S…

I spent a couple of hours yesterday reading and digesting an article in Dogs Naturally Magazine. http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/how-to-evaluate-pet-food-a-3-part-series/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=Part%2B3%2BChoosing%2BPet%2BFood&utm_campaign=DNM%2BUniversity Whilst its taken as read they prefer a raw diet, the three articles give details on how to find out exactly how much protein, carbs, fats and chemicals etc are in the different types of dog food. They also detail exactly what is meant by different terms - and which to avoid and why. It also gives the mathamatical formulae to use on any type of commercial food yo…

Hi Guyz, so my 3 month old sibe female started eating really fast lately. No Aggression as i always try to take her bowl while she is eating and put my hand in her bowl or stop her eating.I feed her Orijen Puppy and Taste of the wild High prairie puppy switch between them. did not change this from the day i got her when she was 8 weeks old. but back then she used to chew the dry food and eat slowly , but lately it just takes her around 1 minute to finish the bowl. i feed her 3 times a day around 200 grams. im afraid she will have problems by doing this . anyone had a similar thing and how to stop this behavior.

Hi, I have a Sibe at most around 5 months old. I have two questions related to my dogs health. 1. We exercise at least twice a day with 15-40 minutes each session but it seems that he still has an excess in energy. He tore our carpet and chairs. Our exercise consists off slow walk, jogging, and fetch/ball play and I tend to let him explore if he behaves good. I'm wondering if its OK for me to move towards heavier exercise such as bicycling or pulling something I don't know lol. If it's OK, do you guys have any idea on the exercise program besides the one that I have mentioned? And if it's not OK, at what age should I start? 2. Lastly I've just noticed that my do…

A Dog Ramp is important for all sizes and breeds of dogs, but especially useful for smaller and older dogs with problems such as arthritis or other joint issues. There are ramps that work well for all types of vehicles so you don’t have to worry about your car. Your dog doesn’t have to risk injuring him/herself when jumping in and out of the vehicle.

Today I woke up to a bizarre incident in the house. I found my 3-year-old Sue scooting across the living room trying to lick her anus. This hasn’t happened before so I knew she was not okay. After observing her for a couple of hours, I realized that she was having trouble defecating. She was having constipation. I’m now preparing to go to the vet, but I just want to know if anyone has experienced this before and what was the problem.
