BingBlaze n Skyla Posted February 25, 2018 Report Share Posted February 25, 2018 A random topic but it popped into my head today , I thought it could be interesting Any one who's on my Facebook knows I'm pretty obsessed when it comes to books , I absolutely love to read and the online (mostly indi) book community is huge they have book signings all over the world which one day I do plan on getting to at least one, so whilst my hobby is reading I also collect books signed by the authors and sometimes by the cover models , I currently have 74 signed books but am also waiting for around 10 to actually arrive to add to my collection, some I buy, others (most) I win I've only been collecting for around 2 years now and have only met one of my favourite authors sadly So what I wanna know is who else collects random things and is there a story behind it? I have over 30 albums and they are all stored in a large jelly cupboard. I have a small collection of a few things: Precious Moments figurines, some Turkish tea cups and beautiful wine classes from the Czech Republic. At work, I have a small collection of "Funko Pop" figures. One is a Siberian Husky. I also have Wonder Woman, and a few Barbies. My son collects Hess trucks though some of them are packed up; only a few are on display. He is also beginning a collection of electric guitars. Two are in the repair shop now and he actively plays one of them. That's about it. I feel like I don't have time right now to pursue any personal interests or hobbies of my own because I spend most of my time taking care of my Mom, my son, and my fluffy-butt husky. ;-) Here is a pic of the Husky Funko Pop. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have found use for the fur that I rake off them, in their shed I’ve put a huge industrial strength rubber mat, it’s 8 foot by 8 foot and 4 inches thick, it’s where they eat their lamb bones, but there’s always a lot of Lanolin that’s left on the mat, it used to take over an hour to clean it, So now I drop a bag of fur onto the mat and rub it in with a long handled brush and the lanolin sticks to the fur, job done in 15 mins!
