amyf27
Maybe they weren't in the mood this day of the video lol. Niko has caught two moles and one squirrel while on hikes and on leash. He was so quick I didn't even see the critter at the time. Kira when she sees things will get into this low creeping stalking mode, just with cats and bunnies outside lol-all the while on leashSent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk Bunny Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
shayes
One of mine once brought in a seagull. It was massive had knee pads and everything. I thought Kobi had caught a white carry bag (it was early hours of the morning )so I called him in and he he dumped the very angry and aggressive seagull in my back room and ran up stairs, left me to deal with the rather annoyed bird that came up to the height of my knees , I was not amused. With a broom and a bit of coaxing I managed to escort said bird back in the garden, the bird was unharmed (thankfully )just very unhappy . DanUK
I let mine eat everything except cats [emoji53] keeps the prey drive under control. We've had birds, mice, rats, rabbits and snake so far [emoji3] oh and I don't let him eat little dogs or children because that would be wrong. Mowgli is better at catching mice than my cat ever was. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners That is a bit stupid as its renforcing the prey drive and if your dog gets away it could cause a lot of problems, and your lucky your snake was a grass snake if he had met an Adder you could have ended up with a dead dog
chelseafan
My 2 remember where all the cats live around here and pull like crazy to try to see them even when they're not around! But the favourite has to be.............squirrels! They look up at the trees they've seen them in even if they only saw them there once........they never forget.Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
spoiled62912
Mine stalks the wabbits as well like she's actually going to get one while she's on a leash. Off the leash I honestly think she could.Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk My girl is better at catching mice than most cats I've seen.Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk

amyf27
Mine remember where the neighbor cats live too. Bunnies as well and squirrels are fun. Once Kira saw a horse at a parade and about lost her mind[emoji1]Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk I was surprised when Niko caught the squirrel on the trail while on leash. I didn't even see the squirrel. I felt a very quick lunge, then Niko was walking in a guarded way, could tell he was carrying something. They can be so fastSent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Jay
Mine go crazy when they see cats or small animals. There are tons of bunny rabbits around here and they lunge for them. They gave been getting better since they are seeing more and more of them and I keep reminding them to leave it. Now they will look at them but they are a little more in control. BingBlaze n Skyla
They love squirrel hunting but even then they don't pull or drag me they'll look and want to go in that direction or stare up at trees but they're very well behaved lol now birds are a different game they like to pounce at those i think they just find it entertaining more than anything Sent from my E6653 using Husky Owners mobile app

Thanks Rob , I've put a lot of training in specially with Blaze to get them walking nicely because I made the mistake of thinking oh he's only a pup i can handle his pulling lol , training never ends either I'm constantly reinforcing their commands on their walks so they don't regress they have their moments like all dogs and there are issues that I might never fully train out of them but I work my butt off with them Sent from my E6653 using Husky Owners mobile app

Emma
Mine get crazy excited over foxes. It's weird because if they see one when they're indoors then they're not too excited about it but if they're out on a walk, they're transfixed by it. DanUK
As we all know, our dogs are classed as a working breed and for thousands of years been hunters. I don't tell Mowgli off when he goes diving in long grass and eats a mouse as again it's thousands of years of natural instinct. They can been trained to accept other animals without issue.Everyday I walked through fields of rabbits sheep and cows without any issue. And as for cats... well..
