  1. A man on a bench A man sits in silence on a bench. Doing his best to keep a promise to the one he held most dear. As he holds the leash he thinks back to the promise, and time they shared however brief it was. Daddy loves you he says over and over wishing he could hold her once more. Nothing can describe the terrible anguish that he feels inside as it shreds the little bit of soul that is left in the gaping hole of his heart. His world torn away by a silent killer in the blink of an eye. With tears in his eyes he tells her how sorry he is that he couldn't protect her from everything in this c
  2. Well today after several weeks of hard fighting I had to say good by to my Anna Marie. She fought bravely all the way up till the end without fear. As you guys know several weeks ago I had posted about a weird issue she was having. Well after other weird changes and the vet it was determined that she was in the late stages of liver cancer. I'm honestly heart broken and to some degree without my guide. She was my world and the light that shone upon my path. She helped pull me from a rough place in my life and helped strengthen my resolve. She was my best friend and far too young at only 5 years
  3. They're clueless then. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk

  6. Hi, I'm just curious if anyone else has had the issue of their husky losing their voice. Mine talks a lot, and I mean a lot. And I've heard that some will if they talk a lot. It's been what seems like about 4-5 days for her so far. Maybe less, but I'm not used to the silence. She's still as spunky as always and still trying to talk but I keep trying to keep her calmed down on that part. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
  7. There is no difference. My husky is my child. She knows who's the boss, she knows the limits of rough play. No one said smacking. A little pop on the nose doesn't hurt. And I can guarantee getting popped when I was growing up taught me something. This is the issue with society today. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
  8. Not saying it isn't in their nature to play rough, mine does as well. But mine knows the limits of rough play as well. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
  9. That's what they say about children as well. But we see how that works when children aren't disciplined. Granted yes she could be playing but that is not a type of play that is acceptable. And you must prove that you are alpha and what type of play is acceptable. This is not acceptable play. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
  10. Pop her nose. Doesn't have to be hard, but you need to be the alpha. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
  11. Honestly there may not be anything that can be done. My girl and my brothers female mutt tear into each other as soon as they see each other. Been that way ever since mine turned 6 months old. She's 5 1/2 now. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk

  15. With my Anna it depends on the dog and how they approach each other. Sometimes she will hit it off immediately and other times it's a no go before they even get close to each other. Last night she met a little terrier of some sort and she was OK and quiet other than her hackles being raised. And those can be confusing sometimes, because sometimes it's "hey I don't like you", and others it "hey let's rough house". Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
