As I said above do NOT read the article if you are sensitive it is EXACTLY how it sounds. What really ticks me off and I just cant understand is why he is not being brought up on more severe charges. It shouldnt freaking matter whether the dog died instantly or not this psycho did something not only beyond cruel but he has access to other high power explosives without regulation. What if he had done it to his daughter or a friend or something? ? ? I mean am i wrong to think this guy is getting a slap on the wrist simply because it wasnt a human he murdered? ? ? Sorry for the rant I am so tired of sick people http://www.komonews.com/news/local/Police-Christopher-Dilli…

The owners of dogs that attack and kill someone could face life in prison under new proposals for England and Wales. The current maximum prison sentence for allowing a dog that kills or injures someone to be dangerously out of control is two years. Under a government consultation, respondents will be asked to select the most appropriate sentence for a fatal dog attack - from seven years to life. Sixteen people have been killed by dogs in the UK since 2005. In March, 14-year-old Jade Anderson was killed in an attack by four dogs while she was at a friend's house near Wigan, in Greater Manchester. Police have no plans to prosecute anyone in relation to her death, sayin…

Here is a bit of news from my neck of the woods... http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/2013/08/01/14/29/wa-woman-offers-20-000-reward-for-missing-dogs Penny Bourne said she believed her dogs Odin and Teak were taken from her backyard in Mandurah, south of Perth, on Friday, July 5. Ms Bourne told ninemsn she saw a white van slowly drive past on the day the dogs disappeared and she later found the collar belonging to her black female husky, Teak, on the ground at the back of her house. The collar belonging to Odin, her red and white male dog, turned up on the side of the road near their home five days later. "[Teak] is really cheeky but she's never, ever sl…

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2377774/Beloved-80lb-husky-snatched-eaten-TWELVE-FOOT-alligator-playing-fetch-owners-North-Carolina.html So so sad Poor boy, rest in peace Simba xx However I do think they were wrong in killing the alligator, it is nature, he wasn't going to know the difference between a prey and a pet dog. ''Its dangerous'' well of course its dangerous its a frikking alligator, I don't know of an alligator not being considered dangerous. Its not like they were going to relocate it near humans.. And I do believe they have reserves for alligators in the US? I think they just wanted to display the huge creature in their museam to attract peo…

Just heard the news that he died today. So sad, he did SO much for kids with terminal illnesses. I tried to get my husband's cousin (my daughter's best friend for that matter) to go on one of his Kidd's Trips to Disney World before she passed away. But she was never well enough to be able to go. He was a well known radio host throughout the USA. He raised so much money in his charities for kids. http://www.dallasnews.com/news/local-news/20130727-dallas-radio-host-kidd-kraddick-dies-suddenly-at-53.ece

For those who don't know, Schoep and his owner John became sort of famous last year when a photo of the two hit the Internet. The photo showed Schoep floating in Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin, supported by his human, John. http://t.today.com/pets/dog-pictured-floating-sleep-owners-arms-has-died-6C10680004

Do you have an ice cream van that comes round the streets with his jingling tune? I didn't realise just how much the ice cream van numbers had dwindled until I read this article (read it as I am a Quo fan but I knew Rossi's background was in ice creams) http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/status-quos-francis-rossi-used-2069015 I bet they are making a comeback in the UK with the weather we're getting right now Do you have a favourite flavour ice cream? What toppings do you like? I like the sherbert .. nom nom!!

For the last week it seems to have become a huge media hype over here. We may actually have our first confirmed wolf back in the Netherlands after being absent for 150 years! The bad news is that we only know that because she was hit by a car In the last year there have been a few reports of people claiming to have seen a wolf, as well as a forester saying he has seen 'suspicious' paw prints. And than suddenly last week this wolf was found next to the road, giving actually the first opportunity to determine if it's a true wolf (as opposed to a wolfdog). So far they've said it's a two years old female, she had beaver in her stomach. There have been no signs found that…
