Marc Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 As you know over the past few week we had some issues with the server being to handle us This resulted in quite a large upgrade for us and resulted in us having to move to a dedicated server for husky owners. Due to this we have had to put quite a bit of advertising around the site and there will be more to come. So here comes the announcement. As from now there will be a new part to husky owners that is done on many sites, however we have not yet touched. This is the ability to subscribe to the site in return for some added benefits that you may enjoy. FORUM SPONSORS You will shortly notice that a few of our members become forum sponsors. These are members who regularly donate toward the cost of the forum through a subscribed donation and will be identifiable by the following icon . CURRENT BENEFITS There are various benefits currently set up on the forum for these users, and will more than likley be more to follow as time goes on. 1. You will receive the premium member colouring (the light blue) however will have a "Forum Sponsor" tag along with the icon before your name in all areas of the site. 2. Access to "Subscriber" section on the forum consisting of sneak peaks to what is going on behind the scenes on the forum, before it happens, and a new open staff conversation area where discussions will take place regarding new feature sets that may become availble in the near future. 3. Removal of all "Google" adverts from the forum. Forum sponsors,(which at the min is Country Hounds) will remain as they pay specifically for this right. 4. Selectable Skins to use on the forum, available only to subscription members. - One at present and many more will come over the next week. 5. The ability to add a background to your public profile on the forum. 6. Access to all games (currently around 150) within our new arcade on the forum (all other members will be able to access the "open category" only). 7. An increase in message storage from the current 100 to a massive 500. 8. The ability to click on the number where you have received reputation and view who has given you that reputation. SO HOW TO I BECOME A FORUM SPONSOR To become a forum sponsor, you simply need to become a regular donator via paypal using our subscription service. The cheapest to become a member of this group is a meer £10 per 90 days. If you would prefer to pay monthly we also do a £5 per 30 day option.
