It's my birthday - so kicked of... starting with dislocating right shoulder when hounds leapt on to bed this morning! (It happens when I leave right hand under head lying down and move suddenly) or climbing into back of Pajero holding handgrip and moving forwards up and in.....about 7 times since last July... getting good at poppin' it back in but today was so sore all day... Emptied main bedroom to prepare for redecorating & furnishing...so... chinese takeaway now! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Today, exactly 4 full years ago I decided to join this forum! So now I hear you ask: Why did I decided to join this forum? The short and easy answer is: I browsed through a couple of husky/dog forums, mostly local and almost all of them had a very bad clique feeling to it. The Huskies-are-the-best-and-anything-else-isn't-worth-talking-about kind of places. It was either that, or places were it felt like 50% of the people were there to breed their dog. I nearly gave up my search until I stumbled upon Husky-Owners. I joined on the 17th of August, immediately realised that this has been the exact kind of place I was looking for and posted my the next day. Along with …

Went to pick her up around half 4. Got all her meds its in liquid form can be mixed in with her food etc. I chose to get her a post op t shirt rather than the cone due to Shadow so he cant get to the stitches and it is more comfortable for her. She didn't want to walk at first i made sure i parked really close, she kept stopping think its the first time in her life she hasn't pulled!!!! As soon as i opened the boot though she was straight in Got home put the new throw on the sofa as its nice and soft for her and all her crate has new bedding etc also. She saw Shadow and her ears went back and tail wagges she was really happy Then i saw if she wanted to go outside …

Sorry everyone its just one of those days i need to vent.. I really miss my lil Snickers sooo much. I just want him back home with me. I often cry for him, wondering what happened to him. I need my little cuddle buddy, my weird pup who loved to chase laser lights and wouldnt let me sleep because he wanted to play fetch.. The one who slipped under my blankets everynight to cuddle and sleep and to who i woke up to every morning.. My lil buddy who would follow me everywhere and loved me very much as i loved him since the very first day i had him when he was only two months. He would always sneak under my arm and sleep on my lap. He would always greet me at the door so exc…

I have been thinking long and hard about giving up Otto. I love him to death, and he's honestly one of the best dogs I know. I love siberian's in general and I've raised him since he was 10 LBS. As I getting older into my college career, working a more serious, more stressful job, have messy and lazy roommates, I'm finding it more stressful than ever to take care of Otto. He hasn't changed, nor have I, but I just believe more is being demanded of me. I can't take him to the park every day now, he's in a smaller apartment where he's not even technically allowed at. I say all of that to say that I have made up my mind: I would gratefully accept anyone who I've come to …

and boy is he a little insane.. haha friday actually went rather smoothly. he didnt whine for his denmates and the only time he whined was when he needed to go out. saturday came and thats when we started losing sleep! i dont think ive hugged my pillow for longer than an hour at a time! we are slowly trying to ease him in and teach him about his crate and potty time. and we are still having some trouble with keeping him calm at night. right now im trying some white noise during the night to see if he gets better as well as the hot water bottle method that is put underneath their bedding to make it feel like they are with their denmates. as well as a toy st…

How long can these gorgeous dogs live for? And does the mix of HuskyxMalamute increase due to genetics ? Given good health, exercise, stimulation and of course... unreputed loving!
