Out of every breed of dog you have ever had or looked after, etc which one have you found to be the strongest? Ive had many breeds myslef. I've had JRT's, Rotties, Labs, Collie x, My 3 huskies Also looked after: Staffie x bull mastiff, doberman, collie x spaniel When I was volunteering (/ doing work experience) at the RSPCA I handled: Whippets, Samoyds, Great Danes, Staffies, Boxers, Collies, Labs, Mastiff's, Dalmations, GSD's, Shar-pei's, Greyhounds and more Out of all of them the strongest breed over all has to be the Siberian Husky as they have a great determination level, very forgiving, high exercise needs, strong pullers

Have you done anything to help the planet ? In the last 10 years we have got the house fully double glazed, cavity wall isolation, gone from 2 cars to 1 drive a diesel instead of a petrol and go on 1 fortnight holiday a year instead of 3-4 but this is really hard so don't be surprised if we go again this year lol We recycle everything as well but thats more because we gotta do So have you done anything to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint ?

Rich came home early today, said he was feeling sick. The flu is running around his job, everyone is sick. Like a good maid, I ran out to buy supplies, juice and stuff... Now, I am feeling off... 4 huskies and we both may have the flu... I shudder to think, so... OMG! just shoot me!

Just back from Kaiser's first puppy class and have learnt a lot about my pup tonight. He's shy, timid and doesn't like other dogs barking>>>not a good start. However, apart from this he actually didn't do too bad. He picked up things quickly and was totally obsessed with the food he knew i had in my pocket lol There was a GORGEOUS Malamute there he was 3 times the size of Kimba and only a few weeks older than him lol - have given his owners a card for the site so hope they'll join us Slightly embarrassed though as halfway through, I noticed that Kaiser needed to go to the toilet so I started to walk him away from the group only…

As we all own escape artists I thought I would pop this on here for us to write down our stories of our Sibe's great escapes I wouldn't say my 3 have done a big escape before, but their fave is escaping into our neighbours garden! They dont usually bother unless their dog is out aswell. It's so embarrising ! Fortunately they are nice neighbours and do give us hassle, even though they could! I always go over and appologise if they do escape out. Keep telling jamie we need some proper wooden fencing put up which we should hopefully be getting done later this year. What's your story?

My neighbors have a GSD....nasty b*tch. Literally. She's bitten two people, including me. Both bites were last summer. One was a 72 year old - one small puncture and bruising. Mine was bruising only. (I was mowing, she came around the fence. I shut off the mower, let her sniff and when she turned to leave, I started the mower again. That's when she bit my elbow) Neither of us turned the dog in (should have!) The owners claimed, in both cases, that she was "playing" Anyway, now she's coming in my yard and chasing birds and squirrels. When I open the door and tell her to go home, she does, but yesterday she "pounced" in my direction before lea…

:D:D Well we picked her up, a little later than 11.30...we got stuck behind every tractor, every slow car we could on the way there! She is such a bouncing bundle of fluff. We got home, after a stop at the petrol station (nearly ran out, oops!) She had a quick drink of water, we showed her her crate and then we took her outside to show her her potty area...she didn't go! Then came back in and ran around like a lunatic! She did knock josh over which he didn't like, but now he has learnt to push her away and she has learnt not to jump up at him...ALREADY!!! We then gave her her lunch, which she wolfed down (she's a piggy apparently,…

Ok, so....we seem to have a good mix of sexes now on the site, let's have a debate......Which sex is better male or female and WHY. If you could come back in your next life as the opposite sex would you and why?? (keep it relatively clean peeps although I can imagine some of the comments that at least 2 of our members will come out with so that comment may just go out of the window lol)

RICHARDS STORY Ok I hope that in this post I put my point over clearly to members and am in no way trying to cause arguments or bad feeling. I joined Sarahs forum back in November 2008 and found it to be the best site for husky owners etc on the internet in the time I have been on here I would like to think I have made some good friends and gained a lot of knowledge I am in no way an experienced Husky owner but do feel I have a lot to offer and a lot to learn.. Since joining the forum I was invited to be a moderator and do try to do all I can to help the forum move forward and to make the place a very friendly and fun loving place to be …

we took suka to the inlaws today and he had his first meeting with a cat and the cat swiped him when he sniffed him after that he just sat there barking at my father in law. then we took him over to my parents so he could meet their spaniels and again he sat there barking at the male spaniel it was quite funny and he has such a feeble puppy bark.

Imagine this - The Titanic, but in 2009 not 1912. As the lifeboats are launched you don't hear the cries of "Women and Children First" but find people barge past you and knock you over. The first people on the scene are the tabloids, wanting their big scoop, the rescuers come later. Do you think we seem to have lost our way slightly in society? Do you hear "please" and "thank you" as often as you did 15 - 20 years ago? Children seem to forget their manners as often as they seem to forget to have a wash these days and my two are no exception!! I occasionally get a please or a thank you but quite often have to remind them that manners have and are …
