Hi Everyone, I have come up with a new idea, I thought that a good thing to do would be to do a sponsored walk/scoot/bikejoring etc to raise money for a dogs/Husky charity or home. We could do this as part of a meet up or a different time or each of us separately. Let me know what you would rather. Also, could you come up with some ideas as to what charity or home and then we could have a vote on them. I was thinking either Dogs Trust or Siberian Husky welfare association would be good. It would be nice to do something positive for some of the dogs that aren't as lucky as ours. :verwirrt:

I love reading and have books everywhere lol But, constantly shelling out for new books can be expensive. I've found this website http://www.readitswapit.co.uk/TheLibrary.aspx which is a second hand book exchange that lets you swap the books you don't want for ones that you do. All you have to pay for is the postage!! Thought I would share

I've been reading around about how having a pet can change your life.....getting Kimba certainly changed mine! Since taking on board my two dogs, I have exercised every day come rain or shine and enjoy coming home knowing I am going to be greeted by two loving faces. Don't you find that they lift up your spirits when you're feeling down? They know when you want a cuddle and when you want to play, not always - granted, they do get it wrong but that makes me love them even more! When I lost my grandad in August last year, I feel into a deep depression, having Kimba round me helped to lift my spirits and he was there for me, we went on long …

Took Kaiser out tonight for his first walk!!!!! He looked so cute in his mini harness LOL he dashed about all over the place - Kimba tried bouncing all over him and it was a tangled MESS. Got to the field and he had a good sniff about tried eating a leaf - hope thats not a sign of things to come lol On the way back saw a woman with her dog Lady, lovely dog - Kimba bounced all over her and Kaiser sat on my foot screaming the place down!! He wasn't at all impressed by meeting another dog! after a few minutes, he moved away and went to sniff her but as soon as she sniffed back again he started screaming! Hmm, not the best walk bu…

As you all know, my boy isn't getting any younger. I'm finally going to have his photos taken professionally - I want a really good shot of him for the wall. Yesterday I called the studio and Bo is going in next Wednesday to have professional pictures taken. I'm so excited. This will be his first time there, so hopefully he'll have fun. He is pretty vain, so I'm thinking he'll enjoy it. But, wish me luck - just in case he decides that my idea isn't a good one!

Lucy - you've given me the idea for this post so thank you lol Do you give your car a name??? I had a Yaris a few years ago - called it Harris (the yarris ) lol But after it had a collision with the central reservation (see pic below and DON'T laugh this was bout 11 years ago), and i got out relatively unscathed, I bought a new one - LAA LAA - as the Reg number ended in LAA After this car had served it's purpose I got an astra called Glitzy (yep, reg number ended in GLZ) Now, I have a Vectra, called Heffalump (reg ends in HFL) sorry best I could come up with lol Do you give your cars a name???

Just back from the forest, and what a fantastic evening we've had! Skye and Misha have been in training for some time now, getting used to their harnesses, learning the commands and doing a few short runs of 200 - 300 yards to get used to the sensation of pulling the rig! Tonight we went down to the forest where we planned to do the same.......I was going to wait a couple more weeks before doing a proper run due to Mishas op a while back.....the vet cleared her as fit to run a few weeks back but I just wanted to make sure...........well tonight she howled her little heart out as my friends first team set off, getting very giddy  on the 1st team returning she was …
