Sorry guys. We've been busy busy busy :) Our son finally came home on Thursday and it's been a bit of a whirlwind ever since! He's taken to the dogs very well and Kala is his little BFF. Kodiak is still trying to work out where he came from! It's such an amazing feeling having him home and he's adapting to life with us well so far.

We had an emotional goodbye with his foster carer but plan to keep in touch with her with texts and pics. He's slept both nights straight through so far so both his daddies are very happy :) It's the dogs that have kept us up seeing as Kala is now in her 2nd week of season and although Kodiak isn't that interested in her since his implant he is very whiny and paced all night while she slept in her crate peacefully!!! More updates to follow.

Well...it's been nearly two weeks since Little'n moved in, and so far, everything is going great!!! He has taken over the place...literally!!!!

His social worker has been here twice, and is very pleased on how well he has settled in.  We have a review on the 10th Feb to make sure that everything is OK, then after that,  it's just a case of waiting until March to get the applications to court to make the adoption final!!!

We are still waiting for the paperwork to arrive from the adoption agency...We still haven't received the formal approval letter as of yet, which says that we can officially have Little'n!!! To say that the admin people at the agency are slow is an understatement!!!

The one thing that we do need to sort out, is a new first name for Little'n.  His current first name will become his second name, and then he'll have a double-barrelled surname.  This will be changed when the application goes to the court.

I've been reading through all the posts in this thread, and i'm amazed at how many people have read and commented on our journey through the adoption process!! It has been a great help to us to know that people are actually interested and wanting to know what we are going through.  We thank you all for all your comments and support!!!
