Mollys_mum
A very sad story; I noticed that one of her wishes is to go sledding with huskies. I don't know if anyone on here could help in any way, but here's the article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2083090/Desperate-mother-baby-induced-early-meet-dying-10-year-old-sister.html
stormchaser09
What a tragic story, I hope she can meet some huskies and fulfil her dream. It is just unbearable to lose someone so young. My prayers to her and her family.

flyingspanner
Surely we can help this young girl, there are enough of us in the North West with Huskys. Come on Husky-Owners, we can do it.
SaraB
Anyone with a husky that's been trained as a therapy dog? They should go visit her, cause it sounds like she might be too ill to actually go on the ride. At least she'd get to pet one and get husky kisses. Poor family. flyingspanner
After I stopped crying, I have just spoken to the Hospice where this young lady is being cared for and left my details. They have had quite a few calls about this and will get back to me in a day or two.

flyingspanner
I've just has a call back from one of the Nurses at the Hospice, Katy isn't really up to having a sleigh ride unfortunately but her parents asked if I would take Storm up tomorrow afternoon to visit. I think I best take some spare tissues

Winnie71
Wow, send her love from all the huskies on here. Good luck and I have a feeling you will need a bulk pack of tissues. That is such a lovely thing to do xx
meeshsalts
If Buck my first husky was still with us I would have taken him. When my mother was in hospital we where given permission to take him into the hospital after that we took him a number of times and because it seemed good for other others he became a regular visitor. Lots of hospitals now allow dogs to visit especially Stroke wards and childrens wards.
