Not sure if putting this here is the right place but I am putting a plea out on every forum I come across!! We have sadly lost our little baby boy cat. We is a grey and white 6 month old stocky cat. Last seen in our house early hours Friday 17th December. We are in Walsgrave, Coventry. If anyone is near us has seen him it would be great if they could let me know. Thanks xx

Facebook connections map the world Facebook intern Paul Butler has been poring through some of the data held by the social networking firm on its 500m members. The map above is the result of his attempts to visualise where people live relative to their Facebook friends. Each line connects cities with pairs of friends. The brighter the line, the more friends between those cities. After tweaking the graphic and data set it produced a "surprisingly detailed map of the world," he said in a blog post. "Not only were continents visible, certain international borders were apparent as well," he wrote. …

The Faucher Family in Delaware have built extravagant Christmas lights setups for 25 years now. How extravagant? They use 1,000,000 lights. So how much does it cost them to run the lights for a month? $82,320. Gulp. HouseLogic estimated the total cost by using the average price per kWh in the Faucher Family's region and assumed each of their 1,000,000 bulbs were the average 5 watt C7 bulb. They then figured the lights to run for 4 hours each night and 30 nights in total. The estimated cost came out to be $686/hour and $82,320 for those bright 30 nights. A lot of money to get in the Christmas spirit!

When we pet or play with him hair goes everywhere..even after I brush him...And he is my 1st Siberian Husky. and also is a inside dog so you can just image the hair everywhere inside... Yes, most of the players involved are Canadian, but look at the fans...they love it! Be sure to watch the YouTube video...it's awesome! Video: Massive bench-clearing hockey brawl is anarchy in the U.K. The scene: Last Saturday night, middle of the second period in Coventry, England's SkyDome Arena. The combatants: The Coventry Blaze and the Nottingham Panthers of the Elite Ice Hockey League in the United Kingdom. In what was already a physical game with 19 penalties called -- mostly for roughing or slashing -- a questionable tripping call was the beginning of a full-on bench clearing brawl. Coventry'…

Does anyone like cricket ? We ( England ) was unlucky in the 1st test the Aussies dragged a draw but the 2nd test was the best wins we have ever over there and was a great match to watch See this morning there are calls for Ricky Ponting's to be sacked and replaced by Shane Warne can't see the happening it was not Ponting's fault they losses it was just a great team effort by a really good England team + Warne flue into England this morning see I can't see him being able to get back to do it before the 3rd test. I feel the Australian selectors have got a wrong balance of older players like England have done in past tests.

http://www.gazetteherald.co.uk/news/8680044.Dog_teams_drafted_in_to_help__Christmas_tree_enterprise/ A TEAM of Siberian Huskies has been drafted in at Dalby Forest near Pickering to ensure that any heavy snow this year does not mean people cannot get their Christmas trees. Last year the snowfall and sub-zero temperatures which gripped our region for weeks meant that many residents were unable to claim their newly-felled Christmas tree from the rangers at Dalby Forest. However, no chances are being taken this year and the team of dogs, along with owner Simon Manning, alias Father Christmas, a former police officer who has competed in the …

Wednesday night Portugal beat Sapin 4-0 in a football friendly, and Ronaldo scored what would have been an absolute peach of a goal only for Nani to head the ball in form the line. At this point the linesman flagged for Nani being offside and the goal was disallowed At least Ronaldo took it in good spirit wKhhLod-J5E

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/8172413/stray-dog-attacked-school-girl A schoolgirl was hospitalised with facial and arm injuries after a dog attacked her on a busy road in Galston. Jessica Urbano, 12, was being driven to school by her mother when she noticed two dogs across the road. Jessica told her mother to stop because she wanted to help the animal avoid running into oncoming traffic. Instead, the dog turned around and attacked her, leaving bite marks on her face. Frank Barberer, a witness to the attack, saw the dog jump on top of Jessica and start mauling her. Jessica said all she …
