I live in North Wales with my other half and 2 crazy huskies Astro and Koda!
I do a lot of charity events such as Tough Mudder and I have a degree in Sports Science.
When I first left school I was an apprentice mechanic for Vauxhall! I do still have an interest in cars and I especially like old Fords such as Mustangs. I wanted to be a mechanic for the Vauxhall BTCC team!
I am quite good at drawing and when I was 10 I came 3rd in a national competition to design a poster about caring for a dog for NCDL (now called Dogs Trust).
I'm also a 1st Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and I once trained with Olympic gold medalist Jade Jones before she stopped doing TAGB Tae Kwon Do
I also enjoy DIY around the house, volunteering at my local animal rescue, watching rugby league and football (Liverpool supporter!), watching BTCC and the TT, and going on days out to interesting places such as National Trust buildings

  1. I think Paul was just replying to the topic in general If you look up horse lunge line, they work well as a long lead. You can get them on Amazon and a few other places Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  2. If she’s on her own she could be suffering from separation anxiety which could be another cause of the chewing. How long is she on her own in the day? She needs to be walked twice a day. If you’re just walking her in the evening she’s going to have all that energy building up all day Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  3. Huskies need a lot of walking, as Rob said she is bored! She needs mental stimulation and lots of exercise, if you’re not able to provide her with that you need to have a good think whether a husky is right for you. Digging however is normal for a husky that’s not down to boredom. I got fake grass put down to solve that problem! Me and my boyfriend work full time and have a baby, we make time to walk our husky Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  4. If he was a service dog you aren’t supposed to pat them! Also I don’t know why you are calling Dolgellau a dangerous place nor bringing the topic of the Welsh language into this conversation. I completely understand why people get angry about Welsh people not being able to speak Welsh, would you live in any other country and not be able to speak the language? Some seaside towns are being overtaken by rich English people buying all the homes as second homes who complain about duel language road signs and call people who speak Welsh in front of them rude. Totally understand the anger. Welsh is unfortunately a dying language and every effort should be made to keep it alive. On which note I think you mean Cwmbran, Bore Da and Nos Dda. Quite a bizarre post. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  5. Thanks everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  6. I use the Houdini ultra harness and police lead on a walking belt, they are great but also heard great things about the vari fit! I personally wouldn’t recommend a retractable lead, if she was to suddenly lunge at a cat/squirrel etc when fully grown it could snap Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  7. Koda Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  8. Just be careful because you might not be so lucky one day, Astro’s mum and dad were perfect off lead they always came back, until one day his dad didn’t and was shot by a farmer [emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  9. Aww thank you I am struggling a bit to be honest but if it was winter I would be worrying about slipping over so there’s no winning [emoji85] hopefully only 7 weeks left to go! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  10. Koda doesn’t move out of the way for pregnancy pillows [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  11. Oh wow you could turn your house into a museum! I don't collect anything really, me my mum and sister used to collect TY beanies we had a few hundred [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  12. Astro and Koda investigating all the new stuff [emoji87] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  13. How long have you had them both for? My 2 used to fight over food and toys when I first got them, but they don't anymore, it took a few months for it to stop! They don't have toys anymore, I just give them a Kong each when they are in their crates, and I feed them at opposite ends of the kitchen Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  14. Haha it's ok I'm used to it so didn't even notice! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  15. Astro had a Kong Extreme, a nylabone and a Kong Squeezze ball when he was a pup, they were the only things that survived more than a day! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
