Val (Zebedee)
safari won't open the link but there was this one Husky that finally returned home after 9 years or so. The dog still remembers his owner! A FAMILY have been reunited with their missing dog – an astonishing 10 years after he disappeared. Staffordshire bull terrier Chance was set to be put down after being found weak and hungry in a city centre 20 miles from home. But luckily the vet scanned him, found a microchip with his address then rang his owner Julie Coombes. Julie, 44, of Barry, South Wales, said: “We went to the dog’s home in Newport and recognised Chance straight away. “As soon as we said his name his ears pricked up as if he’d never forgotten us. It was very emotional, like something from a Disney movie.†Her heartÂbroken son Sion Cox was just 11 when three-year-old Chance vanished. Now a 21-year-old criminology student at the University of ÂGlamorgan, he is delighted to be reunited with his childhood chum. Chance has moved in with Sion at his student flat in Cardiff. “He’s more than happy here,†he said. “He’s got a few things wrong with him because he’s been really neglected but he’s eating well and loves going out for a walk.†
