Lightsiber
Great photos as usual David, your two a really beautiful Jason, you Maya is lovely, very similar in build and coat to my Micah Yes, Very similar - I'd noticed that myself. Maya is barely 6 months. At what point will her coat thicken up? I keep her well fed, but not over fed and she is a very slim build. She is already 21" and 17kg so progressing nicely compared to breed standard. Am I right to think she'll thicken out as she puts more weight on? Rosemary
Micah had a very thin coat when we got her at 5 months, it did thicken but will never be as thick and full as Ozzy who has a much fuller coat - but boy, when she blows her coat we know all about it. Loose hair everywhere
Markulous
A couple of shots from the last couple of months - he's never actually off lead (ever!) and always wers a harness when out (I removed both with Photoshop in that second pic as I liked it so much!) "It's mine!" His lordship surveys his empire Out and about with his Cool Coat Carrying his lunch
Lightsiber
His lordship surveys his empire Nice pics especially standing on the rock. Why does he wear the blue coat? Has it got a function or is it just a fashion thing?
Markulous
Cheers! It's one of those coats you wet and he keeps a little cooler - works pretty well (I was pretty sceptical and was prepared to be disappointed but it definitely does work). And, as he loves swimming, it's self-wetting! So, it's not just cool - it's coooooool!

Markulous
Thanks! Although I've only had him a year (he's a 6 year old rescue found dumped on the moors) we do have some enjoyable moments:

JaanaS
Last weekend we had dryland Finnish Championships at Jämijärvi, and our team did pretty well (6 dog's class, placing 5th, 3rd of siberian teams - pretty well done with the training amount the have had before the race!). While racing team were resting, others did also training run: 16 dogs total, pulling big ATV and 4 passangers! 4 our dogs, rest from 2 friends of ours. This is dryland sled dog sport at fullest And oh, we also have 2 new members in our pack, I'll try to remember to add pics of them as soon as I have loaded the pics to my pc

Val (Zebedee)
went to Burscough car boot this morning, a few hours strolling round there, then decided on the way back to stop off somewhere & have a proper walk! We ended up at Appley Bridge on a canal, so we parked up & followed the tow path for a while, came back, stopped at the pub for refreshments then came home. Beautiful day (& warm surprisingly for November!! Though I did buy a husky hat at the car boot & wore that, it may have helped keep me warm! ) ... some pics for you
Val (Zebedee)
Had a wander round the Three Sisters today, walked right round the back of the race track till we realised we couldn't get back over the railway track, so walked all the way back again! Dogs got absolutely filthy in the mud, but they had a whale of a time washing it off in the lake!!
