Gankez
ok so these pics are actually pretty big. i used my wifes camera and i dont know how to change the pic size lol... so instead of linking the pic ill just put the links to the pics :: Duke:: http://www8.picfront.org/picture/oNgX0m7l/img/100_5208.JPG http://www8.picfront.org/picture/g1cKVZdno/img/100_5212.JPG http://www8.picfront.org/picture/Vt4lgrTw/img/100_5224.JPG http://www8.picfront.org/picture/csmvbCXxfBT/img/100_5227.JPG ::baby bunny(Cadbury):: http://www8.picfront.org/picture/UWh7agWMS6/img/104.JPG http://www8.picfront.org/picture/qr4n3P5Cgqg/img/106.JPG ::the late great Dawg (yes his name was Dawg):: http://www8.picfront.org/picture/AgA3eqFt/img/108.JPG http://www8.picfront.org/picture/STBW8m36cJ/img/110.JPG again sorry for the file size (i think each one was like 2 megs) but i dont know how to change it from her camera soooo... at least its a high res pic eh? lol --sad part here-- as far as the other pics go, cadbury is our bunny. we got him right around Easter and we named him cadbury because his colors are similar to the egg as well as the whole easter thing. dawg was our dalmation. he was a great dog. we use to go to the beach in northern california and sleep on it with him sitting beside us. we didnt have him on a leash or anything and i never had any worries that when we woke up he wouldnt be right there. gotta say he never once run off. he had full run of the house and when we went outside he could go if he wanted to. i didnt even need to keep an eye on him, unless the mailman came. i dont know why he hated the guy so much. a very one of a kind dog and he will be missed ;\ we had to put him down because his heart was enlarged to the point that it was choking him. we gave him all the time we could but in the end it was either us putting him down or him drowning... anwho.. i was gonna put this towards the end of the post but i dont want to end on a sad note soooo... (copy/paste) ------ im in southern california and have pretty good size yard, nothing massive (housing tracks and all that) but its decent... Duke will be my first husky. im picking him up tomorrow (wed 4/22/09) from the animal shelter in the area. at first i was planning to get a puppy because i wanted to train him up myself and make sure he wouldnt eat the bunny/cats but the more i thought about it the more i figured i should get a dog from the pound because spending 450$ for a puppy while another dog, who would probably turn out to be great sits in a kennel alone just didnt seem right... gotta say it was the best decision i could have made. ive been down to visit him every day since we bought him (we had to wait a few days before they could give em the chop and they wouldnt give him to me otherwise) hes a great dog. VERY friendly runs up and lets ya pet on him and love on em. will let me straddle him and doesnt even care which seems odd to me because every other dog ive had always tries to duck out when ya do that. doesnt lick, doesnt jump and listens reasonably well... i had him following me around the pin for a bit and he stayed right beside me. we taught him not to eat the treats until we gave it to him in around 3 minutes. after awhile he just ignored the one on the ground and waited for us to give him the other half. he seems very mellow which surprised me. he doesnt really seem to have alot of energy but it might be because its hot... im not really sure. for the most part he just runs up and lets me love on him. then after a bit takes off to look around the fenced in area... he doesnt seem to be a big jumper but im still going to have to keep a close eye on him because the wall around my yard is only about 5'9 (in most spots but in some its around 5) and im pretty sure if he wanted to he could get outta that without too much problem. anywho im picking him up tomorrow and i cant wait!
