I'm from Ontario, Canada and I just bought a 6 week old pure siberian husky not even 24 hours ago! . His name is King (male) black over white with beautiful facial markings. (Im gonna "attempt" to attach a photo hehe). Ive wanted a husky ever since i was 15 years old and ive fallen in love with him in less then 24 hours ive decided to buy another one in the spring . I (am sure with everyone else here) just love these dogs.. there so elagant and "royal" looking, i love everything about them . i joined the forums to seek out help for any questions i might have in the near future about my new "son" hehe. SarahNukka&Shadow Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 Wow he is gorgeous but 6 weeks is very very early to be away from his mum and siblings, most reputable breeders dont let them go till at least 8weeks, you will need to put quite abit of extra training in and he'll probabley need much more socialisation because leaving early, you should also seek some guidance from your vet as to vaccination as some vets wont vaccinate till 8 weeks and untill hes had a full set of vaccines you cant really take him out into the world properly. So start browsing now and checking out threads, post up any questions or concerns you have, everyone here is very supportive and knowledgeable. Other than that congrats on the furbaby and pictures pictures pictures! We all want to see him and you will want to record him growing up as it will happen fast!!
